What made the Purple Rain album so great is that every song is a masterpiece. For my money this is the greatest love song ever created. The vocals, the synth and piano. But the raw passion that comes out when Prince screams “do u want him, or do u want me”. Pure genius.

This is not a long version by Prince, this is a remix by who knows... and even though its clean, it still made a few mistakes with the stucture. Other than a long version by Prince himself, there are 2 possible ways of doing this correctly and both invole a guitar solo. Either Princes own guitar leads from live concerts, or a genius like Guthrie Govan giving us a reasonable facsimile of that.
Sounded like segments were copy and pasted rather than an actual longer version of the song. It would be better just to play it 3 or 4 times in succession.
