Kathy was there the whole time, and if you take a closer look at her when Geoff hits the silly low notes she flinches, just like we all do.
Ha. love the Tux avatar.
I’m so glad you pointed that out, I’ll never not see it now 🤣🤣
Geoff has revealed at some point at his channel that Kathy has a hearing problem and without hearings aid hears low sounds better than medium or high, so that could be as well.
At the end, center Geoff (wolfman) scratching at his ear in the middle of waving. LOL....
Thank you for reacting to this song! I absolutely love this cover of his! That girl is his wife, Kathy :).
The choreography was amazing
I can't watch this enough it's fantastic. I've just discovered that dancing Geoffs and Zombie Kathy are my joy.
The far right Geoff doing the floss just cracked me up.
Igor :) honestly I loved the Wolfman in the middle. The flea scratching had me in stitches
Yes, Kathy was there the whole time!!
Go ahead, watch it many times, you'll discover new stuff, like Kathy twitching on Geoff's lows, Igor (rightmost Geoff) doing the floss dance, and many more!
Geoff's creativity and amazing voice!!! ... nobody else comes even close! 🔥🙏👻🤯💖
I thought the rightmost was supposed to be the actual Frank's monster (hence the chains). Hilarious that the middle "monster" is the Wolfman (scratching @ fleas).
@@lorrieriddle2211 I assumed, based on lyrics, "Igor on chains, backed by his baying hounds". There are no hounds, back Drac's son isn't there either. So, who knows! 🤣
@@alexwalker8440 By that token - at the start of the song Dr Frankenstein (far left) talks about working late and to his surprise his monster awoke and started to to do the monster mash. Also far right Geoff is wearing a quintessential Frankenstein's monster costume. The oversized suit that is too short in the sleeves etc. whereas most costumes if he was playing Igor involve some sort of hood. And a hunched back.
This is one of those pieces have to watch a few times to catch some of the nuances.
The left end flossing,
The middle guy being the wolfman scratching at his hair
The three breaking their necks with the sound
The one breaking his hip while swaying
The right end being Igor
Kathy's movement at the low notes.
Something happened that the original video got messed up.
Geoff had a makeup artist that had him in really developed makeup for the wolfman, vampire & Igor.
It was last minute to get it out for the deadline. Cathy (his wife) did the makeup for all of his characters. She also did the scream & danced with him. I think if didn't know, it was a good job, even if know.
At first, because I had heard the original over numerous times, it was difficult for me to get that melody & accompaniment out of my head. Then watching the movements it got easier as if was a different song.
Geoff amazes me with every video! I love this one! The three “monsters” with their animatronic movements are so precise! I never noticed Kathy there until she sat up and screamed! Lol When the three Geoffs mimicked breaking their necks, I cringed, as I always do when I see that happen in a scary movie! I don’t know how they did it and made it look so realistic, but it was impeccable. I’ve only seen this twice so far, but I’ll be watching it often during the month! My husband loved it, too!
When I heard the crack of the bones, I felt it.
My favorite part is when he says "the zombies were having (huge break) FUN" cracks me up every time.
The way the Drac, Wolfman and Igor move is because it was filmed with music playing at 75% speed, and then sped up to match the original speed in post.
(so he performed in real time but with the music slowed down, and then in the video he is in fast motion/sped up)
I cannot wait for E to see this one. And yes, Kathy C was there the whole time. It fact that she still flinches when he hits low notes makes me laugh a little.
It's a silly Halloween song that everyone seems to like and he did a great cover as expected. I love the original still, but this will get played along side it for sure. It was cool seeing Kathy in the video.
He actually filmed this whole things twice, so more like 8 times. The footage from the first time was unusable for whatever reason, and he has to do the whole thing over again, but the makeup artist was not available the second time, so Geoff's wife filled in.
As for the movement, it looks more to me like the stop motion method used for early movie monsters.
They filmed them dancing to the song played at 70% speed, and then sped it back up.
I believe that they've understand after the 1st filming that makeup was too creepy in video, so Kathy lightened that.
Hey Brad! Great reaction to an awesome video! I'm not sure if you're familiar with the old 1930-40's classic horror films with Boris Karloff, Bela Lugosi, and Lon Chaney. But the moves the "three" Geoff's are making are caricatures of Frankenstein (arms out front), Wolfman (back & arms arched backwards), Dracula (arm to the side as if holding a cape), and Mummy (arms folded across chest). It's absolute genius!

OH MY GOSH..... HE WAS WORKING IN THE LAB! 🤣
This was nuts man love the content
Yes, Kathy Geoff's wife was there the whole time. From what I understand she helped with the choreography. Truly enjoyed watching your reaction to this song.
I can't find this spooky at all, It's hilarious. That dancing. And did you see Geoff on the right doing the floss at the end? LOL
hrm for your song, the crown brings back memories of Sir Christopher Lee's bands songs about his apparent distant ancestor Charlemagne the holy roman emperor.
Edit: Apparently this is take two, as the first take was a bit too much Horror Film for Geoff's taste.
Edit 2: Yep Kathy was lounged there the entire time.
I love that neck crack ROFL three times as loud as they are all doing it together.
..
My favorite part was after Zombie Kathy screams. Watch Frankenstein Geoff on the far right doing the floss. Hilarious.....
Geoff points out in the comments that the “la la la” section is from Bach’s tocatta and fugue, and they also referenced Fur Elise at the end.
When the monsters cracked their necks, I felt it.
Grandgrandpa here: The Lady with the dad Eyes was Missus Castelucci !!
It was fun watching you jump! Have a blessed day!
Kingdom of Me is AMAZING!!!! Thank you for sharing with us!
Watch him bust his moves. Geoff #1 Dracula, #2 Wolfman, #3 is the Monster. You know we are all trying to learn this dance. Props to his Choreographer. Kathy was awesome.
He put a video up on his channel with just the three "dancers" and left out his narrator character so that we could learn the moves. LOL
@@candilunsford2878, I have seen it, but I don't move as I used to. If only I was 30 or so years younger.
doing the Floss at the end,,,, guy on right
If you notice his wife Cathy was on the couch. I noticed that when the time came for her to make an appearance he put his hand on her on the couch. Watch it back and you’ll see what I mean 😀
So creative and well done - Fantastic!
Super fun, Brad. Thank you!
Yes Kathy his wife was there all along.
Great reaction!! I love this so much, geoff is awesome.
The original was a bit of a tribute to Boris Karlof. The fellow taking the lead did a fair job of impersonating Karlof's voice and inflections.
Watched about 20 reactions to this... still no one noticing the last piano note being "Fur Elise"... #musicnerd
Hi Brad. Gabriel Henrique new cover. I want to know what love is. Amazing whistles tones. React please. Thanks. Best performance ever.
LOVE you new song, Brad! Thank you! :)
And then he adds dancing 💃 lol 😂
That was too funny. I loved it.
Did uhm... Did anyone else see right most Geoff when Main Geoff started dancing with his wife? That move he did looked... familiar.
Not only does Geoff have an unfair vocal range, he can dance as well.🧛♀️🐺🧟♀️🎃
Love your content!!
now put Geoff, Avi , Tim Foust all together on this song and hear every speaker in the country go POP at once from the BASS rumble.
That girl is his wife, and yes she was there the whole time
Glad to be one of the people to help you get 100 000
I think the monsters are moving like the animatronic characters in the old amusement parks.
Geoff Castellucci - Monster Mush was great, amazing and creeping at the time.
Geoff said they had to shoot this twice because the first one inadvertently ended up being a horror movie. The make up guy couldn't be there so Kathy actually did the make up for this too.
Hi Brad, react Gabriel Henrique - I Want Know What Love Is, pleaaase.
He made the most insane wistles of his life... 💥
hey Brad, can you react to Gabriel Henrique : I want to know what love is / emotions (mc covers)
I know right man
Original used Boris Karlov voice.
Yes she was but, like you, I didn't notice until she screamed and I jumped because I was unsuspecting. Soooo yeah. You aren't the only one.
You should react to ACA country mashup
What It Do Dave says Geoff is doing the pop-lock! Heh. I would imagine that the jerky movements are easier to match up during the repeat filming.
That's his wife
That’s his wife
The first time it was sang by borris. Carloft
interesting that they start out quite subdude on the guys doing the mash, then it gets more complicated asd the song goes on
If you WANT to be scared.......check out Voiceplay's cover of the song 'Once Upon A Dream"......the ONLY reactor i have seen react to it was Qofy.......and it GOT him good!.......check it out if you dare.......have your 'pillow of doom' READY!
there is a more 'adult' version of this, check on The Key of Awesome
I properly watched Bobby Pickett singing Monster Mash and he was hilarious
Geoff Castellucci is a failure in this regard cause he's too cool to be funny
edit: I take that back, he is properly funny
