- Showing Eric how to plow at night leads to a broken plow blade! Now, the leading edge of the blade is sacrificial, so it's made to be replaced, but I don't have a good template for making new ones. You'll see.

Your rerail crews are always as busy as the es&dt lol
Plastic gets brittle in the cold and flexes less. Wrap aluminum flashing around the plow extension edge and customize the curve to prevent derailing.
no, it is a “snow flap” yes you need wheel heaters to keep them from building up snow & ice! the one thing
you could do is grind an angle in the blade to be parallel to the top of the rails? but it might
chip if catches a joint. warm up ! you have to be on the cold side fixing the plow! great job, hope you got
it all fixed, and running smooth!
Nothing better for Eric after a daytime of plowing to continue on evening trick😅😅😅
Aaron had to much fun until karma.....
Just hope next run in the morning wasn´t headache.
More snow coming this week, may be rain or worst slushy snow for sunday😢😢😢
beval the bottom edge so it will glide over the track joints.
I wonder if having the edge just be close to the rail and having a broom or brush mounted before the wheels would work better
Brushes and brooms load up very quickly with snow and ice.
Have you thought of a small whisk or foxtail broom mounted inside to clear snow and ice off the wheels when in operation? not 100 percent foolproof, but it should help it some. Another solution would be a thin aluminum plate to gently scrape the wheels clean, but that'll require some engineering.
I think the aluminum plate would work better. I've been thinking about that solution for awhile.
Its like I am watching Guilford RR. Honestly I watch to give you FB stats and like because you are a neighbor, but seriously, I'd love a vid where you made 3 runs without a derailment..
3 runs without a derailment. I would like that, too. It may be springtime before it happens, though. Thanks for watching!
Good afternoon MBRR! Hey Eric, you might consider getting a a hunting Hot Seat for plowing season. Your bum wouldn't get cold sitting on cold metal. 🤣👍❤️📹😃
This ist a verry typical video from the MBRR.....🤣🤣🤣🤣
Oops I broke it again time to beef it up
Put the weight back in the plow.
well, Eric derailed enough this run to stock up for the rest of the season now. LOL From this point on there should be no more, he can just draw from his bank of derailments.
I really wish it worked that way.
It my easier to plow if the operator was "well lit"!
PLOW AFTER IT'S DONE SNOWING NOT WHILE SNOW IS FALLING CAUSE YOU ARE JUST WASTING TIME PLOWING WHILE IT'S SNOWING CAUSE THEN YOU HAVE TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN WHEN IT'S DONE SNOWING SO MIGHT AS WELL WAIT UNTIL AFTER THE SNOW HAS STOPPED FALLING
Your caps lock key jammed....
You made this comment before and we answered you. Clearly, you know more about our equipment than we do.
