Wow you used combination knitting??! Rarely see youtubers actually used the technique, and it is really satisfying to see, because I used that technique too but right now I don't have any knitting projects 😂
I had to google that to figure out what you ment, and wow thanks for pointing that out! I always just thought I knitted a bit weird (but efficient, for me at least🤓) but didn’t know it had a proper name even😁👌🏻
Amazing tutorial, it was really helpful now that Im learning how to knit. I would be great if you could show the creation of a cardigan with collar which can be folded, thank u very much 🙌🏻💕
Hi ! I love your tutorial for this beautiful cardigan ! I just want to know at the « casting on stitches under armhole » part. At the end of each of the front part, do you increase each time ? (which means 12 times) Also, when after the 12 round, when you start decreasing, do you stop the increasing of the front part at the same time? Thanks ! ❤❤
Hi! Thank you☺️ You increase every fourth row on the front pieces in total 12 times. You stop the increases at the front panels before starting the decreasing on the sides (to shape the cardigan) Hope it helped! ❤️
hii! im following your tutorial as a beginner and i don't understand what you're doing at 13:03, are you doing another type of decrease? should i make the decrease you showed at 12:30 or the one at 13:03?
Thank you so much! ❤️ I have another video of a similar cardigan where I knitted one pair on 4 mm needles (ruclips.net/video/GiChCajqzuI/видео.htmlsi=x9c0GlPij98kIzB7) if you look in the description box I have some more info, but I casted on 98 stiches for the back yoke. Hope it helped🤗
Hi, I am not so familiar with those terms, but probably thicker than both those types since it’s knitted on needle size 8 mm🤔 I made another tutorial for a cardigan that’s built the same way (just thinner wool yarn, so more stiches) maybe it could help? You could make this cardigan but with the number of stiches as in this video with DK yarn maybe? ruclips.net/video/GiChCajqzuI/видео.htmlsi=EYPVY-BKWtuqng9c
Thank you for sharing! I'm making this for a friend and I have a question; after connecting the front and back when you cast on the 4 stiches for the armhole, thats where you start knitting that round? Or did you start knitting at the front, then all around to the side until it was time to cast 4 stiches? Sorry for the weird wording of the question, english isn't my first language.
No problem, it was worded quite nice if you ask me, but english isn’t my first language either😂 I didn’t really pay too much attention to where the round started, oops, I kind of just knitted from where I was and as I reached each armhole I casted on the 4 stiches. Hope that helped! Ask again if I misunderstood☺️
Hi ! Just want to know for the I cord, what size of needles do you use ? Is it the same as for the whole cardigan or do you use a smaller one ? Thanks and love your work ! Such an amazing tutorial and suuuuper easy to follow 🤍
Hi! Yes you will need to add stiches or it will become alot smaller.. I have another tutorial for kind of similar cardigan on needle size 5 mm if you wanna check it out. But it might be fine to add about 20 stiches extra for back piece, but you’ll need to keep the changes in mind while knitting. Hope it helped🤗
This is my second knitting project (and the first I'm doing without my mom, aka my knitting teacher by my side) and I'm having a great time! Could you help me out tho, when you say knit 10 rounds (before the increases of the neckline), does that mean 10 back and forth? Or just 10, including the purl rows? I'm not too familiar with English knitting terms and have no experience value 😢
Sure! But changing the yarn will change the look/feel of the cardigan, but that can be just as nice😄 just make sure you get enough as thread lenght varies.
We are our own worst enemy with knitting. It's not really difficult, you just have to relax your body, your mind and your hands. I used to fight knitting. This year I changed my mindset and I have leaned so much. If it seems too difficult, you are fighting it, so walk away and come back with a fresh outlook. Don't give up. Practice makes your tension and your technique better.
I love the fact that you add small details on the sleeve which make the cardigan simple but elegant and thank you for the tutorial
Thank you!! 🫶🏻

What does that mean? Both English and Continental interchangeably?

Amazing tutorial, it was really helpful now that Im learning how to knit. I would be great if you could show the creation of a cardigan with collar which can be folded, thank u very much 🙌🏻💕

Hi, did you release a pattern? Thanks
What yarn do i use ? Dk or worsted weight yarn if i wanna make it in 100% wool ?

Thanks and love your work ! Such an amazing tutorial and suuuuper easy to follow 🤍
Thank you so much! Yep, I used the same size needles for the I cord. Appriciate the feedback!❤️
How many centimeters is the cardigan
hey!! if i used 6mm needles for this would i have to add stitches to my work or will it be the same?

How many grams of yarn did you use
Is there a pattern to go with this? Xx

I think it’s 10 including the purl rows but I’m not sure, if u made this cardigan already what did u do?
Are we able to use another type of yarn?
Sure! But changing the yarn will change the look/feel of the cardigan, but that can be just as nice😄 just make sure you get enough as thread lenght varies.
@@elinsDIY Okay, thank you! Although, what yarn do you recommend for the 8mm needles?
Can you please make a crochet version tutorial knitting is so difficult 😔😭
Oh ja eine häkel Version für alle Projekte wäre wundervoll....ein Traum...
Ich liebe Deine Video's ❤
