- Our Monster Roll that we came up with when we first opened over 5 years ago encompasses 5 monster sized 13-15 shrimp; 2 of them are prepared tempura style and 3 are prepared by boiling them. If you're a fan of shrimp, this roll is what dreams are made of.
Besides these beautifully prepared shrimp, we also use crab salad and Hass avocado on the inside, drizzled with spicy mayo and eel sauce. This roll is to die for and when you come in, it's must try...

About Master Sushi Chef Hiroyuki Terada:
Master Sushi Chef Hiroyuki Terada is one of the top Japanese Chefs in the entire world and the most popular Japanese chef on RUclips.
At age 10, Terada learned the basics of sushi from his father and then went on to attend RKC Chef's School in Kochi, Japan from 1987-1989. He soon earned a nickname for his fast knife, attention to detail, divine presentation and ability to create new dishes and accents based on traditional Japanese cuisine. After graduating RKC Chef School, he was called to serve under Master Chef Kondo at Yuzuan restaurant in Kochi, Japan from 1989-1992. Mr. Kondo is the master of Kansai style cooking, considered to be the high-end of Japanese cuisine. Terada earned the title Master Sushi Chef by becoming the standing head sushi chef & can serve Fugu (Japan Licensed) to the public.

Chef Hiroyuki Terada is using the Minonokuni Matsu-1573 210mm Yanagi. Super Blue Steel. Can also be used for breaking down whole fish and chickens. But normally for slicing, sashimi, vegetables, meat etc.. This is Chef Hiro's custom specked knife.

I don't care what anyone says, imitation crab is delicious.
J. Martin I tried it before and I didn't like it at all. I thought it was suppose to taste similar to fresh crab, at least the flavor. But it doesn't. I don't even know why they call it imitation crab, maybe because it looks similar?
I can only eat imitation, real crab makes me dizzy and throw up

Yes, it is actually quite good as long as you aren't expecting the taste and texture of crab. I love the texture of imitation crab and it tastes good in stir frys

Love these vlogs. Always makes me hungry for sushi after I watch them. When I can save up enough for a plane ticket I would love to come down there and try this roll.
You can always make it yourself, its not really hard and should be easy to get the ingredients....after i learned how to make my own sushi my life is just different now hahaha :)

I really wanna go to Miami just to eat at NoVe!! I love the video's I've watched every one. I wish I could find sushi grade fish to make my own, but it's kinda tough in Colorado, unless you pay crazy prices or can buy from a restaurant supplier (I'm assuming cause I don't see it in any regular grocery stores or local markets in Denver).

Why are people saying not to put Goma? That is the best part! Plus it keeps it from sticking to the plate when you make an inside out roll. Looks absolutely delicious! Tempura is my favorite!

Wow thats a lot of shrimp :) I'll really have tontry and find that eel sauce. I did a lot of research on imitation crab meat/surimi and found out many interesting things. You could see it in my video (sorry, it's in german :p), basically to me it is just a type of fish sausage. Depending on the ingrediants, it is a very smart way of using every part of a fish or just waste/rubbish glued together. I would be happy to see a video from you about this topic!
