    Came here as a GU main not knowing what to I have left to learn. Cancelling the second hit of Point Blank to quickly recharge it is genius. Great video and thanks for the info!

      I knew about the cancels for a long time, but pulling 4 of them off during the short window of a chain finisher... lets just say I'm only recently starting to get the hang of it. In any case, I love MasterMkp for doing these guides 👏

    Took me a Long while to shift my mindset from OG PSO2 Gunner Bouncer to NGS.
    The PAs are far more Limited in variety and the Timings and Means to cancel them is just different enough to Really mess with muscle Memory from deeply Built routines.
    But this guide will help me Graciously.
    I can't thank you enough!

      I know exactly what you mean, with the having to adjust from PSO2 Gunner! When NGS released, Gunner felt so limited and restricted from what we had previously.
      Still hoping to see something similiar to Infinite Storm, Chronolapse and Grim Barrage returning in some form! My pleasure!

      It's nifty bit of tech for sure! The rotation you learned today though will be more 'consistant' for an optimal DPS increase for your CT finishers.

    I deeply appreciate the guide. I love toying with gunner, even if I don't know "rotations" and things as such. I can't actually (mechanically) pull off half of the info here because I have bad memory and "stupid fingers", but having the knowledge is so good. Thanks for the guide!

    Thanks for the guide, been looking for an updated one but most are from 1-2 years ago also I'm glad fighter compliments gunner as a sub class because as a new player I chose fighter because I wanted to use knuckles as well...

    • @MasterMkp
      @MasterMkp  7 месяцев назад +1

      Glad I could help you out! The benefits that most sub-classes provide will always stay relevant as the game develops, because they are built in a way to complement specific builds and playstyles. Many classes excel during enemy down and break phases, which allows fighter to always be a top option to choose.

    Cancelling the second hit of point blank is a game changer.

    • @MasterMkp
      @MasterMkp  6 месяцев назад +2

      It's very handy indeed! The full Point Blank PA will net you higher DPS overall if you wanted to be fully optimal, but this cancel allows you to stay slightly more mobile whilst still dealing very high burst damage in a brief window.

    So for anyone struggling with the jump cancel (bc I was): if you only press jump after the first hit and then start pressing the PA button, the timing where you can cancel is later than when you press the PA button again right after the first hit goes through and press jump just right after (at least that's how it felt for me). I do this on controller by binding point blank to X, so I use my thumb to press X and A (X first) almost at the same time (and you can hold A during charge as well, doesn't matter) then let go of both buttons and press immediately again after first hit. With this I managed to consistently hit 4 point blanks during combo finish.
    Also I noticed, that if you use normal point black (without cancels) and you perfectly time the charges, you can barely hit the first hit of the 3rd point blank during combo finish (only with max atk speed from class skill). This makes 3 first hits and 2 second hits, which is more damage than only 4 first hits. This is especially amplified by Stylish Roll Strike Back giving 20% dmg to the whole first point blank instead of only the first hit, if you manage to get it right before you combo finish. The downside to this tho is that you are locked in place during the full animation, while with the cancels you can move during the charges and especially now with the gunner changes you zoom to the camera locked part making it easier to follow the weak point of moving enemies. So this is mostly relevant for downs or enemies that don't move their weak point too much.

      Bullet Rave T3 will yield the best overall results! Bullet Rave T1 can also be a useful choice depending on your playstyle.

    is this also applied for the gunner patch? cuz it got buffed right??

    • @MasterMkp
      @MasterMkp  3 месяца назад +1

      Correct! Some gameplay aspects have changed in terms of my used rotations & utilisation of some skills, but the basics, class skills info & core mechanics are pretty much the same after the recent buffs to the class.
      I do have plans in the work for an updated mini guide with some of the changes added though!

      @@wholesomez4967 Gunner can be a little challenging to get used to with learning how to use it effectively. However, once you've understood how the chain trigger mechanic works & get really good at evading enemy attacks with Stylish Roll you'll find it to be a very comfy class to use!

      @@wholesomez4967Not entirely true. There are plenty of guides out there for getting started & geared.
      Progressing through the story will give you a bunch of EXP & once you've reached lvl 65 you will be rewarded gear that allows you to access the majority of activites in the game. Seasonal Events are also great ways to gain access to gear, augments & materials through it's exchange shop, by earning seasonal points.
