Absolutely! SB & JB synergises greatly with each other, through the use of Bouncers support & active skills.

@@kazaba1715 For the sub-palette having the active skills Fanatic Blades, Pinion Blade & Jetsweep Jolt will be essential. I also recommend adding some PA's and Techniques, for ease of access while using the other weapon. PA's like Surging Gale and Fierce Wave are great examples, as these PA's are usually used a pre casts. The Weapon Palette PA/Technique order really depends on what you'll find comfortable, but here is my palette setup as a reference: Weapon 1 (SB Setup): Normal Attack (SB), Weapon Action, Roaring Pheasant, Destructive Stork, Rampaging Harrier & Raving Falcon. Weapon 2 (SB/JB Setup): Normal Attack (SB), Weapon Action, Roaring Pheasant, Normal Attack (JB), Rampaging Harrier & Raving Falcon. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ (Bossing Setup utilising JB's Normal Attack for the Jet Intensity Skill). Weapon 3 (JB Setup): Normal Attack (JB), Violent Gale, Weapon Action, Spinning Gust, Surging Gale & Fierce Wave.

@@kazaba1715 Not necessarily. You'll only need extras if you intend on utilising every technique from JBs or using multiple classes. You can alternatevely dedicate another weapon slot palette to feature all techniques, which you can swap to freely as a way to also free up space for the sub-palette.

The two camos used in the video are * Orthrus Mk.2 & * Areus M23.

Going for 150 chain will always net you the most total damage during any scenario where you can build up chain fast & 101+ chain is suited for neutral gameplay & small damage windows.

Spiral Edge T2 & T3. I personally use T3 over T2 but both are solid options. Caliber streak T3 is what I use mostly because of it's amazing AoE capabilities for groups of enemies, however T1 & T2 will better for bossing. Caliber Streak T1 is suited more for short Enemy Downs/Breaks & T2 is really good for lenghty Enemy Downs/Breaks scenarios.

Welcome to the Gunner class! Fixa Fatale will be the best fixa for Gunner/Ranger. The Fixa type or level will determine your augmenting path between all Potency or Potency with Potency Floor. Fixa Fatale 3-5 will benefit more from building into all potency augments. Any other Fixas or a low level Fixa Fatale will still require some Potency Floor!

This update has definitely has bumped the class up in terms of power! Fighter still does have a higher skill curve than most classes, which might not make it as widely used in ARKS record, but I do expect to see it to be very competitive in DPS alongside some of the top classes, in the right hands.

The idea of adding new classes would still be way too soon unfortunately imo, as balancing each class individually is still in high demand currently. So adding new classes/weapons could possibly completely throw the balancing process off course.

Gunner got an class expansion a couple months ago which updated Point Blank to have a guard frame during the approach portion of the attack. The guard frame timing is very small however.

The class has always been built to be button heavy due to the nature of it's gameplay. However, the class has been slowly improving in other ways to allow for better ease of use.

@MasterMkp thanks for reply. Actually I guess I should have said I like gunner but I feel it needs improvement I thought they were updating gunner yesterday but it was just fighter. Gunner is definitely one of the more interesting classes for sure. 🙏

Agreed, I also use it from time to time! Bullet Rave T1 can actually be better in some cases for DPS due to how fast you can reach your Point Blank Finishers! However, that -12% damage penalty essentially makes BR less useful for scenarios where Bullet Rave 'might' need to be used as a finisher. A solid choice if T3 isn't your fancy!

It's always fascinating to hear different palette organisation layouts! I used to have grenades binded to the back palette too, but selected on a 3rd duplicate weapon setup.
