I’ve run a custome machine shop and made parts for 35 years and I have the utmost respect for your knowledge and expertise! We’ve had travel trailers and fifth wheels now finally a class A diesel pusher that needed many modifications to drive and pull properly.
Zach, you're a regular renaissance man - you can design, engineer, fabricate, repair things and cook gourmet meals! Sorry to see that your vacation started out on such a stressful note, but it looks like things turned around before you had to head home. I just about fell out my chair when you showed your Kubota rolling coal out there in that pristine Colorado mountain wilderness - I half expected some environmental law enforcement drone to fly up and tell you to STOP! 🤣
I'm about to do the RV thing full time for a couple years. Keep switching between choice A: just buy one. Choice B: build one in the back of a semi trailer, (race car hauler / camper set up .. but all bad ass custom) or C: buy a partially clapped out RV and fix it up the way I want. What got me to your channel to begin with, was that you were building your own RV and using a semi to do it with. So, after watching the full build series, I'm really interested in the next 5 videos. Thanks so much for doing all the extra work it takes to do these videos. Just know that you're helping one guy out, immensely! 😊
Zach, technically it didn't catastrophically fail although it did yield a bit. It probably would have broke off for a normal idiot that was not doing observant walkarounds on a shake-down run like you did.
Hey Zach, I just now got to watch your video. Another great one, glad you had a nice trip to Colorado albeit a stressful start. Hopefully it was cooler at the higher altitudes and allowed you to escape that Texas heat. I especially enjoyed your food ideas. Have you thought of doing a Zachlife cooking video? You would be great at it, and I know you would certainly have a large following of viewers. Always looking forward to your next video.
Hi Zack big fan of the channel. i am rebuilding something very similar to yours one of many questions I have is why didn't you put a slide out in the coach build?
hmmm, the bacon bit/cream cheese/cheddar/jalapeno balls sound great if I can figure out a keto version... probably Almond flour and crushed pork skins for breadcrumbs... I'll give this a try. I'm betting my homemade hot pepper-garlic oil drizzled in the mix will take it to a ho notha level... cheers!
Wouldn't feel too bad about the hitch at least it didn't completely fail, I've seen a few homemade hitch's completely fail and caused major accidents on the 401 (Canada)
I do a bit of fab work and when someone asks me something like "do you think I could do it" my answer is always a hard "no, if you could you would not be asking me ". I know it's harsh but to many people see a K20 get built and think they can because I did and that's just not how it works. Shit gets dangerous real fast is all.
Your version of TRH Rattlesnake Bites look yummy. Now did you already have the broke something t-shirt or have it made just for this occasion. Most fitting either way. Look foward to you next video. Stress relief is the next pancake away.
@TheZachLife so while you were on vacation did anyone recognize you out there anywhere? I would recognize that motorhome in a second if we ever crossed paths!! Are you open to letting subscriber fans stopping by to say hello or do you prefer to stay private?
should anyone ask " Do you think its something that I can do " to a person they dont know. The answer is always NO. When they ask why the reply is " I don't even know you or your skills. So the mere fact that your asking that question shows you have no common sense to begin with"
Excellent video! Thank you for sharing.
Just FYI
REM-OO-LAWD sauce
Good stuff!
thanks.
If Jaypaydirt calls you for advice (I watch his videos) then you have my vote as he is a smart dude.
Hahaha thanks and I agree.

It just so happens I got a jalapeno plant out in my garden so I'm gonna build me some them cheese balls tomorrow!
Zach you are still learning and we are too.
I appreciate getting something out or your successes and failures.
You have a beautifully inventive mind.
Awesome man looking forward to the videos!
If the apocalypse happens I am team Zach 100%. You the man! Loving the show.
Learning how you design will be very interesting. Looking forward to the next video.

I sure do enjoy Your content Zach.
Thank You and Best Wishes.

I love your RV! Do you have a kitchen? a sink to wash dishes? Great Video Thank You!

Would you build one again?
Your channel is the best, Zach.

A gusset on the back side of the flange would have helped immensely but doesn’t look like you had much room between it and the bumper.
Beat it straight, weld 1/4 or 3/8 plate to it, done. A doubler doesn't always have to be exactly double.
Dang Zack did you drive through NYC to bend that metal? Was watching Mr Paydirt work on his crane and he spoke of you. 😊
Those look like John Wayne Corn dodgers !
Where did you get that great tshirt?? My life story
Wish we could afford to do some RV stuff but with fuel prices no way, glad you got out. Thanks for the video.

One day you need to start with a Zacklife cooking show. A longer set of videos on your interesting food.

Neat video.
One thing...
Its not a good idea deep frying right under that window curtain !

Zach, Remo Lad Sauce. Come on down to New Orleans and let me buy you dinner!
Hahaha thanks. I don't think i've ever heard it pronounced.
Very nice looking coach
Howdy Zach
I like to cook too. Eating is always good.

I’m an oilfield Texas man who happens to be in salida at the moment lol

You have gold fever.
Perhaps.
