Honestly as long as my iphone can see them and they sound reasonably okay I wouldn't mind buying them especially if they cheap as hell
rip noise cancellation/transparency though...unless they somehow rigged that together too.
@@Kitten41 they do have that. I bought one that has not bad ANC and terrible transparency mode on. Sounds aren’t that bad compared to real ones either just that it has more bass and less mid tone

I’ve debated on getting my husband fake ones because he loses them all of the time! The only reason why I haven’t yet is he’s quick to go buy replacements from Target so he’s not without; then I usually find the lost ones within a week. Unless they’re mine, he lost not one but TWO of mine. 🤦♀️ The first pair I had and then the replacement of those after I told him he’s not allowed to use mine. He’s been through a lot but not due to quality lol.
Airpods? Might be better to just get cheaper headphones. Not fake airpods they will not be good. But for half the price you can get earbuds.
Mine is connected to my keys so I never really lose them and my keys have an AirTag

It’s pretty easy to buy broken airpods and put the W1 chip into the fake ones lol
Take a look in the case: the real AirPods have the serial number in the LEFT side and the fake have it in the RIGHT side.
Not the case for European ones. Mine is on the right and I bought them from apple

Calling fake on the real deal because _you_ were under-/misinformed, can create some rather uncomfortable situations. Often with undeserved real-world injury not easily restored, to the one(s) you're calling out if you did so in any sort of public context.

I tried airpods and my $10 bluetooth headphones were so much better and didn't fall out at all despite being years old in my opinion.
I think its ok to cheap out on that sometimes, I didn't look at all the features but the $10 ones I use have smart touch control, automatic charging when you put them in the case, slightly bigger batteries, waterproof, and hifi, so I think I'd prefer the $10 ones.
If you want a pair they are called "c1 space series wireless earbuds", and cost about $12 on Amazon now.
My AirPods Pro sound much better than any cheap pair ive ever used plus noise cancellation is amazing

for an example say you work at a café place with a lot of people and you're on break
noise cancelling is amazing but if you live somewhere less populated or literally just a neighborhood it is a bit more pointless
that's the main reason why I, or other people would buy them, not because they are just expensive and apple made it so "its the best"

I think that these are somewhat ok if you are adventurous and want to have some fun with a risk of explosion. I do not recommend these to people who want the original experience since it will inevitably make them hate the real ones too( if they fall for it and think that the "real" ones are equally "crappy")

one thing real airpods & fake airpods have in common is the speakers break down really easily
For the fake AirPods they almost always have a button on the back of it, it’s very easy to notice.
I've bought a pair of fakes that you honestly couldn't tell the difference except for marginal differences in print color and the quality of the airpods themselves. I had multiple people compare side by side and they picked the fakes over the real ones 9 times out of 10. It's crazy how good these fakes are getting.

I have a fake one, but tbh it’s not that bad. It has the pop up indicator on the iPhone that it detects as AirPods. Sound quality is decent. The only downside is that only the left side works properly, while the right is so quiet. So if I wanna use both left and right, I gotta change the L/R balance from the middle to 0.65. Otherwise I just use the left one
Listening to this on 8$ AirPods I got like 4 weeks ago… only the right one turns on but other than that battery life and everything else is crazy good

The 13 Pro that I bought worked just fine. The weight of everything inside is supposed to pull it down, at least to the point of you being able to separate it yourself if it doesn't do it on its own. Not sure what would happen to cause it to not work as intended, only thing I could think of would be holding the box in a certain way, making sure not to pinch the sides of the box on the inner part.

These “how to spot fake AirPods” videos are unfortunately never very accurate because of just how many differing batches there are. You happened to get a garbage batch, but I have a pair that are almost indistinguishable from my retail in build quality and features. The only true way to be sure right now is to see if they automatically switch between your iCloud devices, as replicas don’t do this yet.

I actually just learned that you’re supposed to ground yourself before touching internals, lol. However, when it comes to this topic, it’s clear I know more. It’s not as though I’m special, there’s a lot of us that know this stuff, and we research and test these products. There is something that RUclipsrs never mention to spot fake airpods, they say that they connect with the iphone just like regular airpods with the pop up showing up on the phone, but most of the time the pop up that shows up is the "these airpods are not your airpods" pop up. The real airpods just show a pair button if its the first time using them.

The fact that they don’t fall apart easily is a HUGE life saver for my clumsy ass. I previously had raycons and one of them fell apart so many times after dropping them that eventually even superglueing it back together only temporarily helped. With the AirPods, all I need to worry about when dropping them is dust/dirt and scuffing.
