I think it's the coil pack. Im having similar issue. Mine is sputtering at low rpm and after you get up to speed it drive nice. I'm gonna try the coil pack.

Just what i needed. Just picked up one. And stumbled on 4K. Previous owner stated month ago new fuel pump installed. Was riding smoothly, one easy corner and this happened. 😢
Yes it’s fixed! Fuel pump didn’t save me either. I did the spark plugs, and cleaned my air filter which was severely filthy. Runs like a monster all the way up to 16,500 now!
@@tristanflys142 yep, quantum. It didn’t help so I went back to oem, just cleaned out my fuel system and injectors, still happening. I was thinking a bent valve but it revs past 10k rpm in neutral so can’t be a valve
@osurrukbocek7713 exactly! Damn oem pumps! Best thing to do is get an oem pump off of kawasaki website. If that doesn't work then you need to get a full dyno done.
@@tristanflys142 it can full rpm in first gear，but 2and3 gear sometimes can’t,normally all the gears can full rpm,but sometimes can’t,it seams like oil pump failure

Mine was coil packs and air filter was packed full of stuff.

Mine stumbles at low rpm and won’t go past 14 did this work?
Air filter/fuel pump. While you’re in there change out the spark plugs.
Have this same issue for 2013 zx6re. I'm going to just buy a OEM fuel pump and see how it works then.

my bike isn’t going past 8k rpm’s initially now in 2nd it’s struggling to
get to 5k
any ideas?
Fuel pump is almost always the first problem in these bikes if not clogged air filter.
Mine is doing the same at 10k i was thinking what if it skipped a tooth on the cam chain. But I'll check the plugs and filter to see if it helps
Have you adjusted the tensioner?
@@tristanflys142 it does a manual cct ill adjust it and see if it helps

did you ever find the solution mine is stopping at 10k as well but i dont know what the problem is
my 09 zx-6r 1，2gear 8000 rpm flameout， It won't fire if you don't restart，but the High gear is normal

hey any updates on this issue man? i have quite the same probs. wont go past 6k ish. very scary when tested on track. almost fail to exit the apex.
