- Labour and party leader Jeremy Corbyn have been condemned after a BBC Panorama programme investigating claims of anti-Semitism in its ranks was broadcast.
Eight people told Panorama they were undermined in their attempts to tackle anti-Semitism in the party.
Former officials alleged that Labour's director of communications, Seumas Milne, and its general secretary, Jennie Formby, interfered with investigations.
Four of those who spoke out, including former Labour general secretary Iain McNicol, broke non-disclosure agreements to do so.
Labour's deputy leader Tom Watson said the revelations were "harrowing".

The credibility of the Panarama Is the Labour party Antisemitic was totally negated in the first minute of the programme. Do the BBC believe it is appropriate to use as a witness a person who would beat up a fellow member of her party. Who had also been working for the Israeli Embassy in London and whose language thuggish to put it mildly .

We vote for political parties base on their policies, positions, manifestos and ability to lead. Every party, like every family have their domestic disputes, which we will treat as a private issue that must be dealt in private.

There were only two cases cited, one of which was Ken Livingstone and that of Jackie Walker. Both were expelled from the Labour Party.

Is he seriously suggesting that He, Kuenssberg, Peston, Emma Barnett and Emily Maitliss have no influence? This is over-representation in the politics programmes which do influence the population. So what the programme was telling me was a trope, was actually true.

I see a contradiction here: on the one hand there members telling Jeremy Corbyn to get a grip on this issue then on the other hand then accuse his office, and by extension Mr Corbyn himself, of interfering. They cannot have it both ways
I don't, he has been asked very clearly on many occasions within his party to set up a fair disciplinary system that acts in a timely manner. It is up to the leader of the party to ensure the process is implemented so correct investigations can take place, the problem is Corbyn is great at protesting against things he doesn't like but actually can't make a decision.
They are only the second party in history to be officially investigated for racism.

The General Secretary is responsible for the running of the Party itself, just as the Conservative Party is run by their chairman, Andi's answerable to the NEC which, in turn, is responsible to the party's annual conference.
Discipline within the parliamentary party is the responsibility of the Shadow Chief Whip.

There are many instances of labour MP's giving disgraceful examples of the behaviour they have had to endure in the house of commons over the last few years. There are quite a few speeches you can find on RUclips.

I don't know your political persuasion but an investigation by the human rights to ascertain whether the party is racist or not doesn't just happen for no reason. The only other party to be investigated in this manner is the BNP.
