So, you said you think your good, yeah, your over the top very good, which means you can only get better, that's pretty scary if you ask me. Your the best @ putting great real time problems and solutions.
@charles Solazzo You cannot be a timid technician if you were to attempt something like that, he is talking about pulling as hard as you can “if the valve breaks it’s already leaking” forcing the valve 1to 1.5 turns past fully opened you need big ⚽️ 🏀 😂
Nice video
Thanks for sharing
Nice video! Nylog works great, I use it on the commercial side all the time.
@everything hvacr Thanks for stopping by
Not keeping those valves cool on installation will cause that leaking
Good Tip 👍

Now we have 658 technicians that knows this trick in the world now
Indeed 👍 thanks for watching
What was the name of the glue the you used
Leak lock! however that didn't work so well, recommend you use the method in the video
They used to make it so you could remove a clip and pop the thing out, replace the washers and put it all back together. I guess replacing an entire valve is more $$$ for hvac companies instead of replacing an O-ring...
I remember lol 😆 thanks for stopping by
I can still see the bubbles 😂
🤣🤣 I found out from someone in the comments that nylog works well too , front seat it then apply then back seat again 💪💪💪
You didn't show the leak.
After I found the solution to the problem I realized it’s worth sharing
You have solved nothing. You will be back for the leak. The only thing that seals these valves is the o-ring on the plunger.
Many of these valves leaked from when they were installed because they were overheated during installation.
The caps have no sealing abilities. I have seen these caps literally blow off under the high pressure.
Sealing with pipe type sealers are not effective as the threads are not tapered.
Replace the valve.
