Was it difficult to find your way out of Porto to the coastal route? I’m doing this in May and that’s my only concern is that I read it’s confusing on day 1! Did you find it OK to find the route from cathedral?
I did not have difficulty finding my way on the coastal route. It is well marked and once I reached the river from the cathedral, I just followed it to the coast. I use the "Buen Camino" app for all my hikes because it does have a GPS tracker, so you know where you are and the the trail is at all times. easy to find my way when I got of course.
