This post is a scam. The photo shown is NOT a pickup truck, but is a Freightliner Sport Chassis costing around $120,000.00. They never show an actual pickup truck ! I don't know the purpose of this scam, but it is a scam, never the less.
Have checked all the dealerships around here and not one of them has one or even lists them on the website. I want to see a photo of the interior and exterior to see what it looks like. But always show a $120000 model. Can't show the real thing then this must be nothing but bulls**t. dealers I've visited don't even list it on the website. show a 6 footman next to it to see if it's taller than a vw bug. Tired of the false advertising.
As an owner of a RAM 5500- issues: Insurance hard to get- even though not in business- so 8,000 might be the annual insurance. Even if I tow my 7,000 Lb GVWR car trailer I am in CDL space. 19,500 truck GVWR plus 7,000 is 26,500 so greater than 26,000- CDL space. Trained and got my CDL- ~ 2500$. So unless it is part of a married rig to a RV used for private purposes lots of complications.
I owned a F-650 Super Truck when the FedGod changed the regulations ( recreational vehicle exemption Boat, went away). It was a 2005 truck with 4-wheel drive, 5.9 Cummins, Allison 6 speed automatic transmission and air brakes. After the change in law, I could only pull a 6,500# trailer, not the 14,000# boat which I used it for. I held a non-commercial class A license, however after I moved, my new home state didn't recognize a non-commercial license, so I lost my class A. Now if I purchase a Class A toterhome, I can pull just about anything provided I stay below 65' overall length.
The Freightliner Pickup is perfect for pulling a double-deck lowbed trailer design for delivering the likes of motorcycle and other light equipment from plant to distribution centers. What I have in mind now is to introduce the Freightliner for this application initially, and perhaps for hauling food & beverage products of SMC (San Miguel Corporation) and others e.g. Coke, Pepsi, Sarsi, SMC Beer, etc. I worked with SMC for 17 years mending distribution logistics aspects of SMC's products. Related to this, first of all, is the estimated cost of your Freightliner pickup truck, fob Manila, if at all the Freightliner would fit to the application.
It will look like a basic plain pickup another copy cat look ,only if it was similar to sport chassis it would sell out,but it will look like a common pickup will freight liner logo an name
It's an ovver priced piece of junk .... the weight and size makes it difficult for every day use now let's talk about fuel economy at about 8 miles per gallon in pickup mode then down ro about 5 miles per gallon or less when working it... and it's definitely not 8,000.00 the tiers and rims cost more than that. The engine is about 37,000.00 all on it's own so for a fully loaded truck your looking at 300,000.00 a striped down version is 120,000.00 ....if it seems to be to good to be true than it is.....
I'M GOING TO PRESUME IT HAS HYDRAULIC BRAKES NOT AIR BRAKES SO AT WORST YOU MAY BUT I DOUBT IT NEED TO BUMP UP TO ADD A CHAUFFEUR TO A STANDARD LICENSE DEPENDING ON WHAT YOU'RE PULLING! IT DOES NOT APPEAR TO HAVE AIR BRAKES SO A CDL SHOULD NOT BE NECESSARY.
Because the cab is the only thing that costs $8k, everything else is extra, the cheapest you’ll get away with is $30k and that’s with nothing, this is total scam the cheapest available motor is over $15k and they go way up from there .

Ikr this just something to get people to watch
Scam for sure.
YOU MUST BE CORRECT BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN TO FREIGHTLINER DEALERSHIPS AND DON'T SEE A ONE!
$220000
$8000...right...For the tires alone.
Dealers are probably getting thousands of calls for a truck that will NEVER exist.
We are and they are angry stupid people. Even getting one star google reviews claiming we are coving it up.

Pure HOG WASH! In regards to the Freightliner.

any single unit over 26000 pounds requires a classB, towing a trailer over 10,000 lbs requires a combination endorsment, which would make it a classA
Where to buy?

So amazing! That's a thing of Beauty!❤

Find one for sale. You won,t.
I’m trying to find a Dealership that has them in New Hampshire is supposed to have them
Can't buy it! So exactly where is it valid? So sad! 😢
Is this even real. Looks like a made-up scam.
It is a SCAM ! What they show is a Freightliner Sport Chassis costing around $120.000.00 ! NOT a pickup truck !
What type of license is needed to drive this masterpiece
I think just a Standard Operators' License, if privately owned! If it's got air brakes, a CDL may be required!
IF IT EXISTS YOU WON'T NEED A CDL! NO AIR BRAKES!
A regular driver license the GVW is less than 26,000 lbs and no air brakes
Imaginary since the truck does not exist. I work at a Freightliner dealership and this is 100% false. The emission system alone costs $15000.
The truck pictured is not what you are going to get
Where can youbuy one at
Where can I buy one
Yes the most salesman out there so scared
PROBABLY SOONER OR LATER ENCOUNTER AN ENRAGED BUYER WILL NOT APPRECIATE THE FALSE ADVERTISING!
The bed is 8000:00 to 10000:00 alone.....
This is a 120,000 truck
IT IS SCAM, THE PHOTO IS A 120,OOO.OO TRUNCK
F&G
More cab than bed.... which is what a pickup needs to be, not cabin comfort.
