I recently discovered a new favorite long weekend getaway, just a 30-minute drive from Portland. Oregon’s Mt. Hood Territory has something to fit all traveling styles, including a couple’s romantic getaway or a vacation with the kids (like in my case). Outdoor adventures are plentiful here, whether it is counting tulips at the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm in Woodburn, or playing tetherball while kids hit the playground on Fir Point Farms, in Aurora.
