It's so imprtant to folow the 3 F's with horses. Food, Friends, Freedom (not locked up in box stalls 24-7)
Xena is adorable! ❤
Thank you for the update, Xena is such a cutie and I'm so glad she has 3 Mamas watching over her. Thank you for rescuing these beautiful beings!
Xena is so adorable and beautiful! Willow is such a patient mama. She's a sweety. Hoping the stripes remain on Xena's legs, no matter what color she ends up! She's really a pretty little girl! Loving Willow and Winnie. Give 'em all a scratch for me!
Aww she is so cute and I love the color she has now. 😍
Xena is getting so big and pretty. She's precious. ❤
Lucky foal❤
Xena is such a pretty foal. All three girls look happy. Thank you for the care you give to the horses.
Flowers of sulfur will cure the hair loss on your horses. Mix it with castor oil and put it on the affected area. I have been using it for years and it always works.
Thanks so very much for the cutie and mom update 🧲❤️
Filly’s are not curious. The colts are they are fun to raise. I loves sitting is the pasture just watching them they would come up and and check me out. Oh grey sound the eyes when she was born. Means she is going to be just like mom.
She has darling little zebra stripes on her legs. Bless her little heart she made me squeeze out some tears LOL❤
Simply lovely! Thank you for the absolutely delightful update on the gorgeous girl-Xena!❤😍🐴🐎 What a dollface! That lil kick- it's just too Damn cute! Mama's looking serene...whew!
The mares also known to stay away from another mares foal. If the foal gets near the mare. She will rebuff the foal with a light squeal. The dam will then call to her foal. This is something I have seen in my own herd of mars and foals.❤.
Wow! Xena's cute and adorable now but she's going to be gorgeous in a couple of years! Hopefully she will keep some of her unique coloring. It will be fun to follow her progress. 🐴❤
She is such a beautiful and energetic girl. I love her markings and the stage of changing colours. Xena is an angel. Mama's pride and joy. Loves cuddles and scratches. Love u so much baby❤
Xena is a pretty little thing ❤
❤ the zoomies and that lil bucking booty 😂 so cute .. Momma is looking very healthy and that makes my heart soar.. they are well taken care of
Im interested to see more of how they do together!
As you are surly aware - horse language is all body language- my experience is the mare is a bit controlling of the foal when they are newborn to a few weeks and doesn’t want the foal running around for obvious reasons- just as the mare is typically very cautious of who approaches her foal as what approaches the foal - and I can definitely see all this in this video- however both are cute beyond words - congratulations 🎉
Xena sez, "I did that slide on purpose. I was practicing my cowpony moves!" 🤎🤍🖤
Thanks for the look at Whinny too. Now Xena has a resident grandma.
She is so precious and adorable 🥰❤
Sending love to you all and our sweet 4 legged babies Ann uk 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️
Sooo adorable. Great job. Thank u❤❤❤
Those leg stripes are amazing! It’s great you’ve documented her colors as they are changing.
Yall are doing a wonderful job ❤❤
❤
How cute! I'm betting she's a line back dun.
Xena is adorable ❤
Oh baby! How precious ❤😊
Beautiful filly and nice little family. The adults could be sisters.
It is interesting that "grays" seem to be genetically related to buckskins, duns and gruleas. Many times, especially with Arabs and Thoroughbreds with the gray gene that are born as other colors will eventually shed out to be gray. I had several quarter horse colds whose mother's were part thoroughbred who were born chestnut and dun who shed out to be gray.
Interesting!
You know what you're doing👍👍👍
One happy foal, a joy to watch ❤
Mum looks great.❤❤❤
Beautiful filly 💖🩵💜💖
She's adorable ❤❤
Beautiful filly.
I think your doing a great job
Don't young horses change coat colors a couple of times as they mature?
Sometimes!
So...she could be grulla or silver dun? If she was true gray, she'd be dark still.
I bet she doesn’t get as hot as she’s from Texas, which is a lot hotter than NC.

MOLDY BABY!
well sorta not nearly as moldy as Molly from Katie Van Slyke
Please take those halters off of your horses when you're not monitoring them. It's really dangerous.
There's no reason to keep them on 24/7 365.
Please!
But why
@@donndajones9937They can get caught in the fence or worse they can get a leg caught while trying to scratch themselves. Unfortunately it happens. Hope it helps clarify a bit. Cheers
We keep halters on the horses we don't want students or volunteers to handle. Other larger successful organizations do this as well.
@@rhfarmstablesvery good and safe practice !!
I agree
