Keep following EngVid lessons and I am convinced that with commitment and study you will be able to achieve significant improvements. absolutely true! "be an adventurer" part is so on point! Every time I go abroad I always try to not make a detailed plans so I force myself to read and talk with people to make my way where I want to go and this is part of the travelling fun! Also, you learn something significantly faster when you really need it, and even more faster if you having fun from it. Here is two out of two =)

Try not to worry too much about making grammatical errors. Personally, I’m fluent and fairly adept in the English language (I’m Canadian), but even I have frequent hiccups with my sentences and pronunciation. Take it in stride; the fact that you are taking your time to learn a new language in the first place is admirable enough.
