Instead using finger nail which might damage ur finger nail to get battery socket out , it is much easier to use the tip of mechanical key , just a piece of advice 😊

Thank you this was a helpful video! I had my car stolen (twice actually) and I was able to recover it but the dealer said i had to replace and reprogram the keys which they charged me around $900 for. So I was very hesitant to go in there with key issues.

Get a bmw...... Only kidding...... The black cover slides as opposed to lifting up. Push withe your fingers towards the edge furthest from where the key is stored, whilst pushing firmly down in the wee button. 🗝
