My peace !
SEE.
I remember this song from when I was a kid. I'd by driving around town with my dad, listening to songs like this and "Mairsy Doats." I still have remember the pictures i made in my mind of that ant. My folks went through the Depression and my Dad fought in WWII and Korea. So that generation knew a thing or two about keeping your spirits up.
Katherine Roddy.. I like your comment very much.. All glories to your dear Dad.. 🌺🌺
❤️
You and I must be ~the same age. I recall being 5 years old living in Ohio and being with family at a playground singing this song. My dad was singing the loudest. A year later we moved to Chicago and my dad took another job and started drinking. We never again had such a fun carefree time as we did on that playground singing High Hopes.
I woke up 6 am and the ant song was on my mind, right out of the blue, I heard and sang it as a kid too
May your dad be resting in heaven with Jesus. I thank your dad for his sacrifices. And I thank you for sharing your great memories. I too rode around with my dad when I was a kid. The music was a bit different. It switched back and forth between Opera and oldies radio. I am partial though to Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin songs.
The 1st Sinatra song I ever heard as a kid. He was the greatest.
"What's the Worst that could happen?" Brought me here, Namaste
A wonderful example of how talented Frank Sinatra was
Good one Brian , hope all seniors are uplifted by this melody. That's how I feel this morning.God bless.😊😊😊
I love this song. My grandmother is obsessed with jazz music and frank sinatra (in a good way) and used to play this song as we were driving home from school!!!!!!!!!!!!
this song is so uplifting, great theme for the unemployed!
Sammy was just a great songwriter and his use of words is inspiring.
Why are you mentioning Sammy and not Frankie?
At a time like these I find this song perfect for cheering me up :)

Love this song for its unbridled optimism. It was originally from a movie called "A Hole In The Head" - very sweet film with a happy ending.
That is the movie I remember it from👽!!!
First time I heard this song was on Antz... then on a goofy movie. Then I started LOVING Frank Sinatra. So yeah. it works out well. (:

Thanks frank i needed this.
just got a job, and singing this whole day:)
I love this!
Always encourages me!
AS FABULOUS AS THIS SONG IS, SINATRA OUTDID HIMSELF WHEN HE RECORDED A DIFFERENT VERSION THE FOLLOWING YEAR TO SUPPORT THE ELECTION OF OUR BELOVED MARTYRED PRESIDENT, JOHN KENNEDY. THIS NOVEMBER MARKS 50 YEARS SINCE HE WAS ASSASINATED IN DALLAS. THE FUNERAL THAT FOLLOWED FOR THREE DAYS ON ALL CHANNELS ON TV WAS VERY DEPRESSING. JFK WAS OUR LAST GREAT PRESIDENT. JFK R.I.P.
Well where’s the link?
Ok I know Brendon Urie loves Sinatra so I tried to listen to this and I thought maybe Panic! just did a cover of it but nope. To be honest normally when it sounds like there's a group of kids singing in the background it kinda freaks me out. Never figured out why.
Great song!!!
You're brilliant Frank with this great inspirational song. We would all do great with High Hopes. So keep singing frank.
Laverne and Shirley brought me here MeTV
Great song from a great movie, "A hole in the head."
Ray Reyes Yes. That was a good movie. Edward G. Robinson stole the show.
Reminds me of my childhood ♡
The movie 'Rocky Balboa' brought me here. A very appropriate song for his entrance to the ring.
I recognize this from "A Goofy movie" when Goofy and Max are fighting on what music they wanna hear.
My grandma used to sing this to me all the time, she used to play Frank's version all the time when I came to her house since she knew I loved it. This song is a masterpiece, now we don't have songs like this, all we have is crap: Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Ke$ha, Eminem, Justin Bieber, LMFAO, Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Wiz Khalifa, Kid Cudi, Adele, and Maroon 5. I wish we'd trade in those artists for Frank, Dino, Sammy, Bing, Dizzy, Miles, Satchmo, and Prima.
Frank sinatra siempre sera la voz, es muy muy GRANDE
I go to a school called kordyak
And this is one of the songs we are singing
great keep singin good for the soul
It's true!
I used to sing this when I was a baby . Momma told me I would run around the room saying the wrong lyrics lol.
My gramma sang this to me as a little girl :')
god all these sob storys
Thanks for the share
I remember this being in the "Rick Moranis" episode of "Muppets Tonight", where while Rick Moranis was singing, Seymour smashed the ant on the table, and a tiny ambulance came to pick him up.
I so needed to here this. #Motivated
It seems as if Rocky Balboa is playing High Hopes by Frank Sinatra. The audience seems to love it!
I used to wake up to Frank Sinatra he was my father's favorite singer so my dad would play it in the mornings and she got us out of bed. My father who was on duty as a police officer was doing security for Frank Sinatra and Frank Sinatra for saying thank you to him as he was leaving the concert and touched his face. My dad often shared that story and he swore that he would never wash his face again making all of us laugh. Today my girlfriend sent this song to me as I'm in rehab & getting frustrated. I never wanted to let my dad down and that's the same way I feel about my girlfriend so thank you Kim once again you knew exactly what I needed to push myself and get out of here. Thank you and I love you
xoxo your crazy coconut

How come little girls like this song? I do, too, but I'm not going to admit it in public.
Has the English language ever been used to create anything else as beautiful as Sinatra's songs?
Was used as the song for Kennedy's campaign. RIP Frank Sinatra and JFK
The surprising juxtaposition is that this bright number was recorded in 1959, when the September 1958 release, SInatra's 'Only the Lonely' (album), was so very definitely sadly pensive and introspective. There were many sides to the man.
Great audio quality on this. Nice video.
I CANT STOP LISTENING TO THIS SONG HALP
i sang this song for graduation!
Had to have high, high hopes for a living
Shooting for the stars when I couldn't make a killing
Didn't have a dime but I always had a vision
Always had high, high hopes
Had to have high, high hopes for a living
Didn't know how but I always had a feeling
I was gonna be that one in a million
Always had high, high hopes
