My favorite place ever. The few breaks around that can handle huge swells. Thank god for the channels out there. My biggest day was at N. Garbage. 10’+ on a 9’ Stewart...in my prime 😆

Steve L. lol I’m I’m in oc I got a 6.8 for blacks and up north. It gets ridden a couple times a year.
You can ride bigger boards in La Jolla, more than people realize. Paddling a potato chip out at Blacks or the reefs - doesn't work very well, when there's swell. And that isn't even that big, for Blacks... But some extra paddling power can help with getting in early.
