Great review! I’m glad you checked this one out. I was also interested when I saw slip joint sawyer talk about them. Thanks for letting us know where to get it as well.
Had the Heinnies red version for maybe three years now. One of my favourite little hiking knives, weighs very little and you can whittle out a spare tent peg, whatever in no time flat, it just glides through wood. I don't know if they've changed it by now but my version has a 90 degree spine too so you can use it with a ferro rod. Surprisingly for its thinness of handle the general shape doesn't bother the slight arthritis in my hands, it is very well thought out. One of my knives that if it went missing would be replaced quick smart. A good price into the bargain too!
Cool piece John I remember when they first came out….. I do believe that Gary Last Ranger really liked them….. I think the fuller grove makes that whole piece thanks buddy😊
It's good to see the Luna getting attention. I really like mine. The design stood out to me because it looks like an interpretation of a Finnish puukko. I don't know if that was intentional, but I embrace it nonetheless.
I really like mine. Very sharp. And good compact size. I got the White mountain knives exclusive. They are jade covers and was like $28? They may still be available. Very good slipjoint for the collection.
Really a fine modern slipjoint John. If you want lightweight, decent steel and a good ergonomic handle, this one is your tool of choice. For a traditional the Marbles sodbuster is nice looker though, hard to beat the bone handle. Thank you and have a great weekend.
Old meets new!! I’m digging the blade design on this one. Seems to have a quality finish as well. Thank you very much for the shout out!! I’m definitely enjoying the stickers you sent, that Tx one is 🔥🔥🔥!!
I just bought one of these but find that the pocket clip to be quite sharp. Not sure if I can file/sand it down however without destroying any kind of chrome it has on it. If it is just polished stainless however then I would give it a go.
I really like the design of this knife, I agree with you, it does seem to be well though-out. We are very lucky to be in a time where there is lots of high-quality and well designed budget knives out on the market these days; that wasn't the case a few decades ago. I also really like your new channel logo, especially the Texas shaped one. Thanks and Cheers!
Hey TK 🍻 For a modern budget slippy, it's a fantastic option - I enjoy my ones 👌 I'm also looking at getting one with Micarta scales, as they do nice tones of Green and Tan... Great review my friend 💪 Atb Gus👍
Great video TK 😁 I love my Luna, such a good knife, I have no doubt it will stay in my EDC rotation. But whilst I’m perfectly happy with the one I have… it doesn’t half make me wonder what the higher end ones are like. I can see why people have multiple variants of this.
A nice contrast between "Your dad's pocket knife." and "Not your dad's pocket knife." I think I'm leaning more towards tradition, I must be getting old. Thanks for sharing.
Man I used to have one of those. Still today, it was one of the sharpest knives out of the box I have ever bought. I recall the walk and talk was so crisp. You got me peeling for another!
Bellissimo (beautiful) modern design, good looking and functional, thanks for showing it, TK.
You bet, Jose. A really well refined modern design.
That is a cool knife! Thanks for the closer look. I may have to get one of these elegant guys!
A great modern slippy EDC. Thanks for having a look, RJ

You're welcome Dean. Sawyer is to blame for this one.
Just a gorgeous knife buddy!!! I forgot about how much I wanted one those, thanks for reminding me !
This knife has a great design. The handle shape and blade are terrific. A great EDC.

That's how I would describe this knife as well. Smart. Just very thoughtfully designed and I agree it is comfortable even as thin as it is. Thanks JK.
As always great review and nice looking modern slip joint knife
That's very nice of you to say, Turtle. Welcome to the channel.
Nice looking knife! I like that design!!
I do as well. Simple yet clever design.
Thanks for showing off this knife, never seen it before
Glad I could introduce it to you, Dave. Thanks for having a look.

Yes, that long pull/fuller sets it off. Thanks for watching my ramble, Pete.

Thanks Joshua. I think the design is very smart wherever the influence.
Very cool thanks TK very informative.
Good to see you Jesse. Glad you like it. Hope you're doing well.
Super video. Inspires me to carry my Marbles.
LOL. Love the comment. Thanks, Rick.
Ordered it and the Marbles...thanks for the discount.
LOL. I knew the Marbles would get attention.
@@ThriftyKaniffy I believe Tobias got me interested in white bone and you got me hooked on work knives. The two just goes together.

Yep still available. It's a good looking knife if you like the natural jade.

100% agree. Always great to have options. Two great choices.

Getting a lot of positive response from the TX sticker even though it didn't poll well. I appreciate it BigJ, the Luna does it for me.
Nice modern take on a slipjoint .
Great review .
I think so too. Such a smart design. Glad you enjoyed it, Michael.
The Luna is one of many on my list. 💵
A well thought out design. It hits many a mark for me. Thank You, NS.
I just bought one of these but find that the pocket clip to be quite sharp. Not sure if I can file/sand it down however without destroying any kind of chrome it has on it. If it is just polished stainless however then I would give it a go.
Might be worth the risk if it can be of more comfort to you. Thanks, William.
Great review, as always. The long pull nail nick looks cool.
Too many knives, not enough time (or money).
Thanks TK
That always seems to be the case. The list of wants is plenty long.

Thanks Toad. I've sent some stickers your way, I hope you'll see them soon.
@@ThriftyKaniffy Oh man, that's too kind of you! Thanks very much, buddy! 😊
AHH the Luna 🫡 everyone should try this knife out, it's a great knife.
Awesome video TK 🫡
The Influencer. I'm glad you tuned me on to this one Slippy. A great design.
Nice little summer carry,I thought you would like it.atb paddy

A smart and useful design. Thanks for having a watch, Chad. 👍

Great review my friend 💪
Atb Gus👍
I'm seeing a lot of people who have bought multiples. Kinda like me with my QSP Penguins.
I have the black and bronze version like you I don't buy many modern slip joints but this is worth having.
Yes, I agree. Just a really well designed piece and incredibly UK friendly. Thanks Lewis.
Nice knife TK.
Glad you like it James. I think it's a pretty darn cool knife.
The earlier Luna versions appeal to me, so does this one. So the offset clip doesn't look bad at all. Thanks TK!
Great DD. I think the earlier photo was a little deceptive of it's placement. Thanks for having a look.
Great video TK 😁

That's where they get you Stu. 💵
Nice one, buddy!
Thank you and cheers, David. A great EDC.

A nice blend of the two Id say. Thanks for having a look, Ed.
Funny I was thinking the same things as you before you said it 😊
That's cool, Prop. I guess I'm not a;l wrong then about how great this knife is.
Man I used to have one of those. Still today, it was one of the sharpest knives out of the box I have ever bought. I recall the walk and talk was so crisp. You got me peeling for another!
Gottta wonder why you got rid of it. It's a good one. Thanks Mr. B.
That’s pretty nice for a modern slippy. Though it ain’t as pretty as the marbles. Lol.
Marbles steals the show. LOL. I can't blame my traditional lovers, it's a terrific knife.
Nice review. I've the red HH in UK. Nice unobtrusive carry in shirt pocket. Blade tip needs care maybe, fragile looking.
Don't pry with it and I think you'll be golden. Thanks, Robert.
Looks great, especially for the price. Not sure what you said but alexa sure liked this too, saying something about you made her smile ear to ear 🙃
Is she flirting with me? LOL. Thanks Randy.
@@ThriftyKaniffy I was a bit jealous lol
