My favourite place to go, my friend and I usually go here every Sunday , Pete and his crew are very friendly, helpful and have great sense of humour (needed when I race)
Amazingly well made tracks. I am hopefully going to get Melbourne area this year, I’ll try and convince my other half to let me take an afternoon to visit. What are my chances???
I have a question, hate to get off topic but need some advice from you and your followers,I just bought 2 scalextric 1/32 scale cars, also both are dpr ready.and I want to chip them to run on my Carrera digital track, question what Carrera digital chips I need? Including part # ,,don't think I will run them autonomous but that could change,so any and all help appreciated, not use to all this digital stuff yet ,lol grew up racing analog back in the stone age, thanks again have a blessed day
Thanks for the quick reply,I've been looking at the Carson chip but had a few people tell me to use the Carrera chip #26732 but from what I have read this is for only upgrades to Carrera cars not scalxtric slotit Nsr ect.....so thanks for helping me make up my mind, gonna order 2 Carson chips, thanks an have a blessed day
G'day again Travis. Good coverage of the slot centre that caters for the most facets of slot car racing in Melbourne. Not too many around the world as good as this. Another Australian made car you missed is at 1:41 when you parked next to a 2010s model Ford Falcon. Likely Barra six engined unless it was on of the few V8 optioned ones. Been to the Mr Slotcar centres of Peter VH back when the first one was at Narre Warren South then Dandenong. Must get to the newest Hallam one. Might be a track most like the track the Australian NSR championships will be raced on in September. So for Melbourne racers could be a good track to practice on and set up cars and gear ratios. Do you think these MR Slotcar tracks are most like the Brunswick Junction track in WA? ruclips.net/video/75dpTXiGA6k/видео.html
At racing last night I was speaking to the Australian agent for Ortmann tyres. He looked up the Ortmann range on his phone and found pages of Ortmann tyres made for the Carrera GO 1:43 cars. He could import them if he had enough orders for them in Australia. Not sure if Mr Slotcar stocks any Ortmann tyres though.
@@johnd8892 Thank you for the responce. I will look into Ortmann and see if I can get any info on possibility's of finding them in the US Thanks again Mike
@@mikebowles3036 the bonus is Ortmanns are a very good urethane tyre and the equal of our local MJK tyres in 1/32 racing. I use them for all the odd wheel types that Carrera use. Good to replace the many melting Carrera tyres we come across locally as well as a big handling performance upgrade that we do as standard in both my race groups. I have heard Denis of Electric Dreams talk about Ortmanns on the World Wide Slot Car Chat, so you would be unlikely to get a never heard of them response from Electric Dreams.

Could they recommend a trigger type controller for GO 1:43🏁🤞🏁?
Should have got off at Hallam turn off. Slightly quicker & you don't have to deal with F/Gate Traffic.
Great Videos mate. Hope all goes well for you & the channel. Melb. local as well. Narre Nth.
i see you parked next to a Ford falcon
