I took up fishing due to mental health, home life can be tough esp with a disabled child, fishing has literally given me a new lease of life! Videos like this give me a boost when I can't get to the bank! Was at a lake the other day an got talking to a young lad, seen he had some Korda tackle, same as me, we swapped some kit, and I let him try out the goos i had, he loved the Bumbleberry and Tiger Nut Smoke. We are both looking forward to Monster Carp in July. Mad, I was old enough to be his dad but had alot in common through fishing 🐟
Love the interaction with the cameraman - we often forget they work as hard behind the camera so nice for them to be involved - especially with good banter!!
The message is massively important, but watching how the Korda team stand together along side all anglers, shows carp fishing and the community is an arena where we can all support each other TALK, i have seen first hand how much this helps my Mrs Much Love.....Great Respect !!!
Can't wait for the next vlog spooner love watching them you crack me up And what a great message at the end I suffer with mental health and talking is one of the best things to get threw good and bad times
Cracking video once again Spooner, stunning fish and what a venue, your vlogs are making my isolation so much amusing cant wait for the next vlog, especially enjoyed the length of the vlog, cant wait to get back fishing again, hopefully I can catch a fish as nice as they were! 👍
Great touch to raise awareness of mental health I myself have had my struggles but fishing gives me that time to myself! The carp family is the best family! Great watch again love these vlogs!
Cracking blog as always, but with a very potent message at the end. I have been to some very dark places from a young age, helping my mum with a battle with alcoholism and dealing with bipolar, it left a mental scar on me, but with good people around and the aid of carp fishing now it helped me through and made me the man I am today. It’s good to talk!!
The vlog series has got to be one of my favourite series of carp films, thoroughly enjoyed every one 👌. Nice words at the end about the sad news of the young woman too.
Great vlog as ever mate, and thoughts and prayers go out to Laurens friends and family, mantel illness is an invisible battle that many people fight alone and find it hard to ask for help for, so letting people know it's okay and normal to not be okay is a great thing in it's self as it helps people to seek help. 🎣👊👍
Another cracking vlog with a beautiful message at the end for Lauren (Rip) really loving these and looking forward to the next episode cheers spoons and lewis
Sad news man, we also had a young lad in work take his own life last week so very relatable this is!! Mental health is very important and thank god for the fishing world and community to keep are spirits high and focused.❤️❤️❤️🎣🎣🎣
Spooner I hope you see this mate, you truly are a joy to watch. You seem so humble and down to earth, such a pleasure to watch! Take care fella, looking forward to number 7 🎣
Thanks for supporting mental illness in this vlog. It is imperative that people know of the issues at hand and that it shouldn't be a taboo! I've been struggling with mental illness myself for the past 4,5 years. And because of people knowing about it, breaking the taboo and taking me out for fushing for instance I'm getting in a good place more and more! So again, thanks fir your support to the cause!!!
Love the blogs Spooner!! Going to definitely give these goo's a try got a 3 day session in the Midlands soon!!! 😎 thoughts with Lauren's friends and family! ❤
Great video spoons , been watching your vlogs religiously. As for the ginger comment , no we don't do well in the heat lol. That umbrella backpack idea would do great for shade as well 🤣
Cracking vlog this Spooner. I must say I do love a solid bag myself, you defo got me into them. It was a great laugh too especially when you pulled out the ginger joke and shouted across the lake for the insta re-Takes🤣🙌🏼 cracking editing too, love the little cinematics you guys do. Great enjoyment to watch and bring on the next one!💯
My son loves this vlog. Spooner is “a legend” and Marley would love to try the new bundle for his junior matches 🎣 He also cannot wait to fish you when you next visit Fennes! Keep up the good work 👍🏻
Another brilliant vlog and Norton Disney looks like an incredible venue. Such a shame when i heard the news about Lauren as i have followed hers and Jordans Instagram page for a while now. My thoughts are with Lauren’s friends and family.
@@KordaTV It was a brilliant competition with some absolutely superb prizes. Those new Goo’s look insane and combined with the the infuser pots and the cool looking bucket will definitely put more fish on the bank.
Totally enjoy watching your vlogs, they are enlightening and it's good to see the disappointment you have in foul hooking but you don't let it get to you, keep up the great work
The mirror from Pettitts was beautiful. The Norton Disney complex has some lovely looking fish. Gizmo is brilliant I think he should do the next vlog 😆
Fantastic vlog again , and a good look at the venue , definitely one to fish in the future . Such a shame to end on a sad note but please people doe as he says reach out and talk to one another , it does help.
Love the vlogs Spooner, was good to see all the work we’ve done on film, and was a pleasure having the opportunity to meet you whilst working there, thank you for spending a few minutes of your morning to have a chat, such a lovely chap, would love to spend a days fishing with you.
Loved this, hope to visit Norton this year. Looks an amazing complex. Love a solid bag they're so under rated. Good luck my angling friends! Top angling Spooner!
Another great vlog spooner and gizmo. Every time I watch a vlog I need to get out on the bank and slam some solid bags out on my local syndicate. All the best with your fishing. Keep up the good work ! X
Absolutely loving these videos. What a genuine guy and some cracking fish on the bank too. Got me the bug to book a few nights on Norton too .. keep up the good work to all the team. After not been carp fishing for almost 14 years due to starting a family ive certainly got the buzz back to start again after watching this blog and Norton Disney is literally up the road from me so thanks Neil cant wait to be on the bank again
Brilliant watching the vlog, I enjoy watching Mr Spooner fishing and getting the little behind the scenes of monster carp and the Korda HQ. Thank you for keeping us anglers inspired 👍🏻
Always watch to the end always look forward to your vlogs, this one was great right about now I'm off to Norton Disney beginning of july all being well so this insight was extremely helpful, can you give us a recap on your solid bag rig Spooner mate. RIP Lauren 🙏
Great vlog as always Mr Spooner! Very sad news and our thoughts go out to Lauren's family and friends, very painful time.... A great venue in the making, one day for sure 🤞
Another great vlog Neil, Lewis and Gizmo (he made it the best yet). Sorry to learn of Lauren’s passing, from someone who has had severe depression for over 20 years, it’s hard to talk as you feel weak and ashamed. Humbler now to be able to talk about the condition and share with others. I gave up fishing 10 years ago and started again 2 years ago. The peaceful beautiful countryside and meeting new people has definitely helped. Keep up the vlogs as their a great watch.
Great Vlog and the lakes are certainly ones for the future of carp angling, a sad subject to end with but very relevant during these times. RIP Lauren 🙏

Talking with my mate about fishing pettitts as it’s his moms last name 👌🏻 I think it’s time to sort the gear out
Wouldn't it be a nice touch for Lauren to have a swim named after her on her favourite water.
