    For a Five Point Star: Using a protractor, each angle from the center point is 72 degrees. A circle is 360 degrees, divided by 5 points for the star, equals 72 degrees. Beginning with a center point. Draw five angle line separating the area into five equal 72 degree sections. A protractor is made for finding angles. As these five lines can be infinite in length, any size star can be drawn from the five centerlines at the intersections of the desired circular size.

      with a protractor, even a monkey can. the video shows how to do this without a protractor :)

    So what is the terminology of a star? If I ask for a 5" star does that mean from point to point or the radius or the diameter? And is it the same for a pentagon. If I ask for a 1" pentagon wrench what does that mean?

    • @brickpredator
      @brickpredator  5 лет назад +1

      I'm not sure what you mean. The construction of a star or Pentagon for any diameter is shown. Relatively speaking: as a circle divided into five equal parts.

    Once the perpendicular lines are drawn from the first line, thus finding the center of a circle, use a protractor to mark 72 degrees increments
