I always forget to clean and refill mine until I go to use a specific color and it's dry, and hope I have the refill for it. Recently just had to order some refills because of this issue lol.

Wow, so much helpful information, especially using a paper towel to clean the caps. Usually I either put some alcohol in the cap or I put a cotton soaked piece of cotton into the cap. Your method is so much easier and much LESS messy! Thank you.
