    Very nice job! I'm going to have to do something like that on our motorhome. Unfortunately, I can't blame this on a horse, unless I want to refer to myself as a horse. I really appreciate you posting your work. It will help me in my adventure.

    It's people like you that give others the confidence to have a go. What a great job! I've just purchased a fibreglass pop up camper that needs some repairs. After seeing this, I'm going to have a go myself. Thank you sir.

    • @RVFieldTrip
      @RVFieldTrip  Год назад +1

      Thank you, but to be honest while I was doing it I was extremely nervous on how it would work out having never played with fiberglass before, but I figured what's the worst that can happen, I bet that when you're finished fixing up your pop up camper you will have the same end result, I truly thank you for commenting and also subscribing to the channel, good luck and we'll see you next time

    Im glad i humbled myself to watch this video. You just taught me to stack fiberglass. Judging based off this video, I would have messed up somehow.
    Thanks for making this video

      I felt the same way when I started the project, but I also knew the worst case scenario would be to have a professional do it luckily it turned out great and still holding up to this day and we saved a tremendous amount of money, good luck with your project and let us know how it works out, we thank you very much for commenting

    Thank you. My wife turned me into this as I have a very, very large area that will probably require some straps to pull it together. It's on the corner at the rear of the RV, where I hit a post with tail swing. It probably won't look as good as yours, but my wife is okay with my doing it to save an increase on insurance premiums because this would be on my Collison insurance.

    • @RVFieldTrip
      @RVFieldTrip  11 месяцев назад

      Gary Rayfield, I didn't think mine would turn out as well as it did at least in my mind, but I bet you if you take your time and keep on looking for low areas building it back up it will look just as good don't get frustrated just take your time, good luck and I hope your wife is happy with the results you as well, we appreciate you watching and commenting, and we'll see you next time

      Well thank you we appreciate your compliment, if you just take your time and don't get too nervous you'll be just fine, remember when putting on the fiberglass if you put a little bit more so you don't have to do it over again yes it'll be more sanding and more time but it works out really well and you only have to patch it once, we appreciate you commenting let us know how it works out and hopefully we'll talk to you next time good luck
