Why You Should NEVER Manually Unburrow On Rek'Sai!

- A video showing off the difference between manual and automatic unburrow on rek'sai. You'll never miss a knock up and can even have a BIGGER hit box on your knock up if you use your auto attack instead!
As of patch 13.11 Rek'Sai has the same range on both versions of her knock up. If you're about to comment her manual unburrow has a larger hit box, it doesn't. Read the patch history on her.

Theres a reason for manual unburrows I remember seeing it back when I started playing Sai but I also remember it was a skill issue thing so I couldn't use it and forgot what it was cause I stuck with the autoattack burrow. I Also know that you can actually kite Sai's autoattack burrow if you know what you're doing. I know in the jungle you want to manual burrow because it helps with clearing camps.
Well you can't "kite" the rek'sai knock up because it's an auto attack. also if someone is kiting rek'sai and they can't get in range for the knock up then they're not going to be in range for the manual unburrow knock up either as they have the same hit box. positioning for jungle camps is different than relying on your reaction skills for a knock up over guaranteeing a knock up with the auto attack since it will auto cast the second you're in range to knock up.
I literally didn't know that you could knock up with the manual borrow...

As a past grandmaster rek sai the only time you don't use autoatack for the stun is when you a chasing.
The unburrow with w has some range for some reason.
You autoatack every other time, is better in all the ways.
There's no hay you unburrow without getting the stun out with autoatack, even if they flash you got the stun.

@@Selects I don't play league anymore but if I find a rek sai main through the rest of my life I will let them know.
There are situations where using manually unborrow is way better than using an auto attack. Like if a champion dashes through you, e.g. lee sin q´s a teammate behind you or akali ults behind you.
But an attack move near Lee sin will guarantee the interruption.
@@uglycommander008yeah thank you for replying cause I was going to say the same thing. An auto attack is going to automatically knock up and cast the second someone dashes over you. Way better than trying to react to someone mid air.

You are simply wrong. If you cast with w it has more range than casting it with auto. Its on the wiki
I think you didn't even watch the video. I've tried to unburrow right next to the target and didn't knock up and then try with the auto attack knock up and it worked. I did both before and after I had lethal tempo active. In either instance her hit box was not bigger while using manual unburrow. I also said this could be a bug at the end of the video which knowing Riot it very well could have. Or the wiki didn't account for her season 7 rework on her w and is just wrong. But either way her manual an auto attack unburrow are the same base range at the moment.
Pretty bold to say "simply wrong" when there's video evidence throughout the entire video of how it works.
@@SelectsI did watch the whole video. There are multiple reddit posts too talking about it. It's only slightly bigger so it's hard to tell

The ranges are the same so definitely easier to just use auto
