I have the same bloating problem and learned I am sensitive to certain types of grain. Digestive enzymes are a game changer for the days you do want to cheat. It helps my body process those foods a hundred times better.

I use the Oura ring to track my cycle and also use the iPhone health app to double track. Both have been very accurate.
I have been really happy with my Oura ring synced to the natural cycles app. It takes my temp for me every day without me having to think about it and it’s made my cycle really predictable (when all my life it has felt unpredictable) just because I can see based on temperature fluctuations when my period is on the way. I also just generally love the Oura for the sleep insights so it’s a win win
i am on that SAME diet for my baby who has eczema. i feel SOOO good on it! it’s hard, but so worth it!!!
I am currently 3 months postpartum so I’m all over the place but before I got pregnant I’d use an app but I’m looking at switching apps but something that helps me is watching the signs my body gives me, very carefully. The amount of cravings I get. The amount of pain I get. The amount of bleeding. The emotional side. I watch a lot of that and it has helped me notice when I’m about to start and half the time I don’t even need my app to look at to know when I’m staring. Most of the time I can pin point to the exact day
You got this Ashley. It’s hard but our health is wealth. I noticed everything bloats me too I have a horrible relationship with food. No jeans fit me it’s extremely uncomfortable and no doctor helps 😩😩👎🏼☹️🥹

I love using Natural Cycles! I sync data from my Oura Ring and Garmin Watch. I highly recommend the Oura. Love it, and the temp is accurate.
Omg I felt that gut sit-down part so much. I battle with really bad gut issues and your holistic doctor has you on an "Low Fodmap Diet" or the "Elimination Diet" its also called. Don't be scared of that diet. I am a BIG FOODIE like you and I still go out to eat and still have some things I love. I can't have gluten, caffeine, dairy, soy, etc. And omg I freakin miss spicy foods. But I know it's for the best. Lol. But I just wanted to say thank you for talking about it because I think more people should talk about their experiences and what works for them. Gives other people like me ideas to try ands vice versa. Great vlog Ash.

Honestly- removing most gluten along with (unfortunately, bc they’re favorites of mine) dates and cashews has DRASTICALLY reduced my bloating. I’m wearing jeans I thought didn’t fit anymore. They do- I was just super bloated.
I saw that you usually put dates in your smoothie- they’re extremely bloating for me, so maybe that’s a culprit.
ETA- almonds are also super bloating for me. I switched to oat milk and oat milk based things and that has helped as well.
The Creighton method is amazing to understand your body and your hormones.
GIRL GET NATURAL CYCLES! Been married for 7 months, and not pregnant😂 it works and is super accurate for me!
So for tracking your ovulation. I recently started doing the same, tips I have had learned by myself are, If it clear and sticky on your underwear means your healthy, if it’s white pasty your Period is about to start and also is it bleach’s your underwear specifically black or dark coloured underwear means your PH level’s are normal. And if you find spotting it could mean that it’s coming out in your ovulation or that could mean you’re pregnant. Also the best way to track your ovulation is it starts 2 days after your last day of your period. Hope it helps you out. Love you and your sister videos.
Last year I was also struggling with constantly getting sick. I know I have a weak immune system but I couldn’t figure out what was going on. A friend recommended I go to an allergist and get some tests. Turns out I was eating/around things I was super allergic to! I starting taking these immune shots for it and it helped so much. Now I breathe and sleep better plus I haven’t gotten sick once this year. It sounds crazy but it might be allergies making you feel sick. Hope that helps ❤

Garlic is the most known bloater ( I have CHRONIC IBS) luckily dairy and gluten doesn’t hurt me but a tiny bit of garlic causes me so much discomfort. Garlic is a high FODMAP food so I have to avoid it. I hope your food elimination journey is helpful for you

This is my time to shine!! Having tried 2.5 years for pregnancy, I'm a pro at ovulation tracking.
I used the Amazon ovulation strips & started testing about 8 days before my estimated ovulation.
I did NOT do the tracking my tempature because it was just awkward.

I was feeling so bloated and "gassy" 😂. I found out it was the garlic. I've been consuming it not often, and when I do,
in very small amounts, and I'm a new person now.
All my GI docs tell me that garlic and onion are your enemies 😭😭 I hope this isn’t the case for Ashley because it’s devastating

For tracking you cycle do some research on ‘natural family planning’. There are several different methods from tracking temp to tracking mucus to using testing strips to track hormones.

Yes soy is in a lot of stuff and there is different words for it too! I'm allergic to soy
I have celiac so gluten was my big problem, but also look into the low FODMAP diet- those foods are known bloaters. Take a look at the list of high FODMAP foods and see if any of those are your culprits.
Hey ash! I'm 23, I've never been on traditional birth control but I've been using the natural cycles app to track my cycle for over 2 years now, I just manually take my temperature but I eventually want an oura ring. I adore it, it's crazy empowering to know so much about yourself , I will say however my partner and I are crazy careful, ie still use condoms and also do not do the deed on red days. Anyways , I highly recommend!
I have been using the Fertility Awareness Method for 9 months as a form of birth control and it's amazing. I use tempdrop which is amazing and I highly recommend it. It is super important to start tracking cervical mucus which takes time to understand. I highly recommend the book "Taking Charge of your fertility". Be patient with yourself it will take time but it is so worth it!
Going off BC I took all the supplements. Olly has one specifically for acne/face and that one saved me for that first month. Happy I got off though! All the energy and no more bloating, also lost a shocking amount of weight off of it.
I’ve been using the Flo app for years and it’s been super accurate. Also tells you the chances of getting pregnant each day (there’s also a warning not to use that as a method of BC lol), but it’s helpful!!

ive been using the femm app to track data, but the luteal phase (begins 3 days after ovulation is complete and there is no more mucus or discharge) until your period, and possibly even some days on your period are infertile
a basal body thermometer can also help you see when you might begin ovulating with a slight heightening in temperature

I started having allergies to corn and soy in my 30s and those two things are in everything. 93 percent of the soy grown in the US is roundup resistant meaning it is covered in it. There is a multi billion dollar lawsuit against Monsanto. I additionally have a horrible time processing whey. I can have some cheese if it’s organic etc. thought I’d share in case it helps someone.
Started taking oregano oil tablets and haven’t been sick since. I did go see a doctor about my gut health too!

Not sure if already mentioned but if you are getting off daily be careful with whey protein. Honestly check with your nutritional but I switched to hemp protein and I no longer have stomach issues.
I just use an app called Flo it tracks my periods and everything and usually it’s pretty spot on

LAST MOMENT to get off birth control girl. It is horrible. the health, and infertility rates have been horrible. I am infertile, no periods since I was 20 years old or so- I am 32 now. Also, gall bladder stones I had I found out were exactly from that. Also, be careful now because you might have hormone and mood swings and changes as well as changes in your brain- you might even see that you are not attracted to your man anymore. That is how much it affects you! It is crazy!

Ash! 🩷 First of all, are so brave to be making these changes for your body 🙌🏼 wanted to comment about cycle tracking - I just started doing this about a year ago (I use Flo). My husband and I have actively been trying to get pregnant since October with no luck so far. All that to say - once you get your tracking down, there’s actually a pretty small window for you to get pregnant and if you monitor that closely, that should make you feel empowered for whatever your life goals are! 🩷 I also did the food allergy elimination diet for 3 months a few years back (GF, DF, no soy, etc.) and girl I lost 20 POUNDS! All inflammation because my body didn’t like avocados, corn, gluten, and some certain starches/carbs. It was very educational and VERY difficult, but once I found out what my triggers were it was much easier to balance my food and limit inflammation going forward (I still eat avos, just not a lot)! YOU GOT THIS GIRL!! 🫶🏻
