- This video explains how to replace the battery on the Sony WH-CH500 wireless Bluetooth headphones.
This procedure may help to bring back the original battery life in case the battery does not keep a charge as long as it used to.
The process is not too. complicated. We complete this task with the help of a small Phillips screwdriver and a soldering iron.
My WH-CH 500 Headphone's Media volume is too low and it didn't increase when I try to increase it. It's a hardware problem or Battery problem? It have any solution?

2:35 YU10298-17012 Is a 3.7 to 4 Volt lithium battery (not very precise on the range due to the low quality)
Seem to be made in china or something and if you find any similar battery that can fit there and has the same voltage it should work just fine, more amps would be even better.

Hi I also own the WH-CH500, and even though I pressed the on and off button at length, it never stopped working again after the purple light. Even if I put it on the charger, the light doesn't go on. What should I do? Please help me.
As far as I know the purple light is a very common issue and it means the headphones are broken.
If you are lucky yours are still under warranty and eligible for a replacement.

I was researching this problem for a while and could not find a solution for it other than sending it back to Sony for a replacement.
