I share your perspectives. I have a 12 year old son who doesn’t like studying very much, but he’s now really enjoying online English lessons with a native speaker while playing video game. I feel this is an up-to-date way to learn English especially for kids.
I agree with MJ and Adam! I hated studying English when I was a student. That was just score. But now I have an American bestie who speaks English. He makes me motivated to study English! So I love studying it lately:)
The objective is not always clear in Japanese education system. To me, Studying English is to get communication tool global applicable!
