In general, Japanese people care about cleanliness in public. When I was an elementary school student, many girls' toilets were Japanese style. Someone had diarrhea. Restroom was so dirty. I did not know who did it. One of my classmates and I were on cleaning duty. She didn't want to do it, so I did it. I was angry about someone who left the restroom dirty. After I grew up, I heard that rich people keep their restroom clean. I keep my room clean because of this.

That story made me laugh. The main lesson here is that everyone should clean up after themselves.
I would run away when I spread my drink😂 I should reflect on it...
But, I always wrap my gums with a tissue or paper when I throw it in the garbage!!👍
Looking at the two, wrapping up gum and throwing it away is more important than wiping a spilt drink.
