Actually, it's _much_ too slow. It takes that CF7 45 seconds to cover its own length. That's three-quarters of a mile per hour -- a quarter of walking pace. It's really impressive to have a model that can run smoothly at that pace, but it's much slower than any real-life switching I've ever seen.
Thank you for sharing this video. I like the close up view and especially like the slow moving train. I have tried similar techniques with my n-scale railroad videos. Excellent to focus the camera so only the modelled scene is visible versus some of the room.
Excellent. Thank you Lance for sharing. And your latest book is inspiring and helpful. Amazing!
Shot is sooooo realisitic that I'm amazed!! Just awesome on every level!!
Best looking Guinea pig I've ever seen! I love seeing slow realistic ops.

Nicely done! My kids are in awe, don't believe it's a model. 😁
I swear I saw the breeze rustling in the trees! Thanks for sharing
OK so this is everything I hoped it would be from the latest blog post......looking forward to more clips.
Ticket the jerk in the BMW parked next to a fire hydrant Lance!

The ugly stepchild of 4 axel locos!!!
Award winning!
WOW... 4 years between videos.. I had given up on you... LOL
wait a second, Loksound dubbed-in but TCS WOWSound installed in the actual loco? ;)
Basically yes Christian but I did use tracks from a few sources for the prime mover.
How's that Wowsound in the unit? I have been wondering how it sounds in your new loco.
