I’ve had the cineape25 as my first ‘real’ fpv drone for a little over a year now and I’ve put it through a lot. Put in walksnail 1s, waterproofed it (and accidentally sank it in a pond - it was fine), cracked the frame in multiple places and repaired it. I usually fly an action2 with the RDQ 720mah Li high voltage batteries, not the lightest but it works pretty well. Have flown an action 4 and 5 pro as well by removing the battery and powering it off the balance port. Honestly it’s been an amazing drone for me and let me get a lot of practice and some paying gigs. Looking to upgrade probably once O4 air comes out to build something sub-250g for operation over people, but really for the price and what I’ve made it do I recommend this drone to anyone thinking about trying a cinewhoop
I had difficulty with the ELRS receiver. I really couldn't find the problem. It would occasionally work fine, then the next day no dice. I reflashed, model match....blah blah. Even went on to the discord.... never worked correctly so I purchased a Betafpv ELRS receiver with a better antenna. It works NOW... Stock tune, besides the new receiver, all stock. Flight is excellent for the price and it takes a beating too.
Hmmm... sorry about that. Hate to say it but it was most likely just a bad RX. DarwinFPV is normally really responsive in customer service, even if it takes a few days, so I would recommend reaching out. At least then they'll know that happened. Glad you are enjoying the kwad, you're right, it is a little beast!
