hello, i am using a macbook pro with m1 pro processor with 16gb ram. I'm thinking of buying wirecast pro. I'm broadcasting live on youtube and facebook at the same time. The wirecast program is said to be a program that forces the system. Do you think the system I have is sufficient for a problem-free broadcast? thanks
Yes streaming is taxing to systems. What resolution and frame rate are you planning to stream at and would you use a service like restream to go to both platforms or did you want this m1 to do both?
@@AJaytheCEO thank you very much for the quick response.I'm planning to make m1 do both. I'm thinking of streaming 720p 30fps on both platforms. Will 16gb m1 pro be enough for this job? Or should I get a windows pc?
Hello, thank you for your video. I have a question. How can i separate the image that goes a Out on youtube and Facebook from what i can see on my screen in the studio?
Hello I got a question with regards to streaming video on Wirecast. These are the settings i currently use on my PC for Wirecast for streaming: FB 1080P for my Encoder preset, Main Concept H.264 for my Encoder, 1920X1080, FPS:30, Average bit rate: 3500, Profile: Main, Key Frame Every: 60, Time Code Every: 30. For Audio: Bit rate: 128, Sample rate: 44.1. Now when i stream live events or services my CPU runs at 30% but if wanted to just stream a video only my CPU runs at 100% and my video feed starts to either go slow or jumpy and my audio stays perfectly fine. The Desktop i'm using is a custom Win 10 pro with AMD FX-4350 Quad core Processor, 24GB ram. My question is why is that happening? Is that a settings issue and how do i fix that from happening again? I'd like to be able to stream videos without having the video be jumpy or skipping and the audio sounds perfectly great. PLease Help? Thanks
@@AJaytheCEO Honestly, being it is a processor i would think it auto updates through Windows and since windows is constantly doing updates i would think that gets updated if needed bit i have not done any manual updates to the AMD.
@@AJaytheCEO I went to AMD and i manually did the update and everything updated pretty good but for some reason i'm still having the issue. I'm noticing that when i play a video file whether it be an intro or anything of that nature the CPU starts to run at 100% and the video may start to jump and if i try to transition to another video it will take up to 10s to transition but when i transition to a camera feed the CPU goes down to 20-25%, Why? could it be the way the video file was created or something? Just trying to figure out before i decide whether to buy a new PC or not.
So , I want to use this with RESTREAM. This product is amazing. I'm having a problem with setting up my audio to come through RESTREAM. I hear it in my headphones ,but when recording any video I play the audio if the video is not heard
i'm really confused about wirecast !! how to deal with wirecast (with all it's graphics and cool visual stuff) and the ATEM television studio HD (with it's capability to switch between video sources) ?
@Ammi M. I'm working on a series of Wirecast tutorials. Because there are some many ways to do the same thing, its really about workflow and how much of the work you want Wirecast to handle.
@@MonteWeaverofficial Thank You Monte for your reply. I really like Wirecast and how it's fulfilling my needs in the broadcast, but sometimes adding a gear or two confuses me a bit. I can't wait to watch your series of Wirecast. Thank You a a bunch.
We use wirecast at our church. Just reinstalled the new version on a new computer. We run two cameras to be able to flip between them say to the pulpit and then to the lectern. What is the best way to build that out in the scenes? Should we put both cameras in the same scene or on different layers? Also we have been using restream to send to multiple sources at once like FB and YT, previously this was set up because it took up too much bandwidth on upload for wirecast to send to two places. Is this correct or have you seen this as a problem? I think it was more computing power. Would like to cut out restream if possible.

It should be able to handle that but I would go with a PC to handle your stream

Can I save different layers, say I want to have one for Sunday service and another for weddings or bible study?
Hi I can't seem to find how to add another layer? Are we stuck with 5 layers?

It sounds like the CPU is getting hammered in decoding the video file. When is the last time you updated the AMD drivers for your system?

Yeah Microsoft sent out a bad AMD update last year so I personally just get my updates from AMD if I notice any performance issues
@@AJaytheCEO
Ok thats good to know. I guess i'll have to go to AMD and get the updates manually.

My webcam should be able to do to 720p 60fps (C920) but for some reason it's locked at 30... do you have any idea why?
Make sure you are using the latest driver's and camera software
@@AJaytheCEO Thanks. 👍

I just got the latest version of wirecast on my 2017 imac but am thinking of buying macbook pro max m1,I want to know if wirecast works on m1
Sure does. M1 Max here and Wirecast is rock solid on it.
I will like a tutorial how you can do an audio to converted with images and upload it to youtube
We use Wirecast. I’m trying to figure out how to get power point to show up.
You need to do a window capture of the powerpoint output in wirecast
