@@berengerdietiker22 actually, it does make sense, both this movie, and the third movie are following one of his dog sons, and his only wolf daughter, and they both are unique because the son wants to fly (I don't exactly know how to explain it), and his daughter found out that she was part wolf and she wanted to find out WHO she actually was, and both movies have the same message, basically the message is stay true to yourself, that how I interpret the message However, it is your opinion and I'm not trying to start an argument, I'm just stating what I believe

The reason I don't think Wolf Quest makes sense as a sequel is because it has nothing to do with the sport of dog-sledding, unlike the first and third films. By the way, in Balto III: Wings of Change, it was Balto himself who wanted to fly, not his son.
What I find hilarious about this movie is that Balto is half wolf and half dog, Jenna is a husky with no wolf ancestry so Aleu is actually LESS wolf than her father. her wanting to return to the wild or whatever the weird ass plot of this movie ended up being would have made more sense if her mother had been a wolf. But because her father is a wolf/dog and her mother is pure domesticated dog, she'd probably have LESS wild instincts than even her father.

Something about this scene was so impactful to my childhood I still reflect at almost 30 years old on the words that transpired in this scene.
