As someone who grew up on his music and then finding Sza when she first came out and being completely obsessed with her, it's like a full circle moment hearing one of the best and most impactful writers of this time bring her up and acknowledge her talent. His era was some of the best music then and of all time. Can't believe he's not celebrated more often. I only just found out who he was, that's insane! Sean’s Germany experience was so on-point. In the 80’s and 90’s, AFN was an “All Purpose” network for the military community. All the popular TV shows and movies in the states aired on one channel, and that included live sports lol. You either had to go back home or get VHS tapes sent by loved ones to keep up with BET programming and other cable channels. All that aside, I still wouldn’t change it for the world, even if kids looked at you like you were an alien when you came back home lol. Those 6 years split between Nuremberg and Bad Nauheim were well worth it.

Sean’s Germany experience was so on-point. In the 80’s and 90’s, AFN was an “All Purpose” network for the military community. All the popular TV shows and movies in the states aired on one channel, and that included live sports lol. You either had to go back home or get VHS tapes sent by loved ones to keep up with BET programming and other cable channels. All that aside, I still wouldn’t change it for the world, even if kids looked at you like you were an alien when you came back home lol. Those 6 years split between Nuremberg and Bad Nauheim were well worth it.
