    Love you’re videos. You guys are the real deal. I grew up on top of the hill by the Catholic Church there. Would walk down and fish the piers with my brother. Have memories of fishermen lining the pier and break walls both sides of Black River,in late fall jigging Lakers. Check out Maritime museum if you get a chance. SH was a commercial fishing port years ago. Your videos are the best, keep up the great fishing!!!! You all have it dialed in!!!!

      Thanks man! And they come back around in late April and may but you gotta cast for em instead of jiggin since they aren’t spawning on the rocks

    Going to try pier fishing for salmon thia summer. How is your setup? What types of methods are used?

      For summer salmon/steelhead we use shrimp or alewives under a bobber set up. We have a vid “how to pier fish summer run steelhead” if u wanna check out the exact rig. Tight lines🤙

      Any rod rated to 12lbs and up will work don’t gotta be anything special. This was a custom rod

    Live in the area and gotta say my friend, great videos! I know of 6 Sturgeon caught around that same general spot last year. Different time of year but the way your pole looked... Damn!

      You can catch em most of the year whenever the water is cold fall winter spring

    Hey dose this happen on all peirs...your just your spots...I don't see flat walls Ludington
    Has rocks and concrete...I started my trout slam...lake trout was my final fish..then I survived meningitis in January then back to back rear end car accidents gave me brain injuries..so lake trout got forgotten..
    6 yrs ago. Maybe some advice how and where... I don't care how big or have to cast from shore ..any ideas

      Yup just about all piers get em. Go mid-late fall through winter. Jigs swimbaits blade baits and spoons seem to work best👍

      Nah seasonal like steelhead. They’ll hang around longer than steelhead usually tho

      And I know drums are slamming the ned rig at the moment, how long in the year is that effective for you?

      Steelhead are currently at berrien spring fish ladder, should be in trail creek and Mishawaka by next week

      Varies every year, you can get them good usually either early winter or just after the ice comes off in the spring. Tight lines to u2

      SBS Outdoor Action no I was fishing for lingcod and rock fish and hooked into a 30+ pound lingcod and he drove my line into the rocks and broke me off.
