Absolutely Gorgeous! Love it, love it! You played this with such feeling I listened to it over and over. Gustav Lange is definitely one of my favorite composer so glad you play him, thank you, Hanneke
Been listening to this rendition of Thine Alone of yours for years. I like how the final note "echoes". It's like... the time finally comes and you must part from it, but you're reluctant so the best thing you could do is basking in the last moments before it goes away completely, fading. And you savor the moment... or the trace of it echoing in your heart. I don't know what I'm saying, lol. I read the score from free-scores and on that final part the pause is put on fermata. Not sure if it's the one you're using (well, it has the same artwork as the cover, the disembarking couple). I just like the touch, haha.
Thanks very much for that interesting comment, Muhammad. I can't remember exactly what I did now, but I may well have used a little artistic licence at the end! Sorry about the poor sound - I recorded this such a long time ago, and with a very basic camera!
@@PSearPianist Certainly it would be nice if you'd like to record this piece again with better equipments but this one already has evoked some sort of nostalgic sense since it's been posted for long. It's special. You know, like discovering then playing an old vinyl. Sentimental, yes. Regardless, never ever delete this video, haha.
@@muhammadfahmilubis5622 I won't delete it. Note that I have recorded a lot more Lange recently, including around 50 pieces from a huge set of transcriptions.
A lovely piece for relaxation which i can listen to all day long. You played with such finesse. Many thanks Mr Sear.😊
Many thanks, Michelle!

Hanneke Driest Thank you Hanneke - I'm glad you enjoy Lange's music, and I really should play some more of his work!
Romanticismo. Complimenti
Grazie, Antonia!
bella pieza, que hermosa tecnica, saludos!
Thank you very much, Karina!
A nice piece.
@azizsachin It actually came from the online Henselt LIbrary!
@ANYA1688 Good to hear!
@gerardbedecarter Indeed!
Well played. I never knew Christopher Lloyd played so well ;-) Great Scott!
+Craig Haylett Well, maybe if we could combine my piano playing with his earning power we could be onto a winner :-)
You could be right! :-) I hope you are not offended.
+Craig Haylett Not at all!
@jade03092007 Il est en effet un bon morceau!
@satchisthebest I am sure that this was his target market!
Is this also from the Library of Congress? I went digging through that archive last night and found some real treasures.
I can't remember. Probably not very long, as Lange's music does not have many rhythmic, harmonic or technical surprises.
O
😊
