- First off sorry for wind noise and low sound. This was my one and only winter motor I done this winter. I'm slowing down. I only have a 2 car garage. I don't have a lot of space to store them. But it's a low hour motor. That the only one's I look for now.
Sweet! I've had an AD-12 for 21 years. Still runs great
Nice! I just picked up a CD-12 last night with a good metal tank. Should be a fun project. Then I want to get my 56 Lark back up to par for the summer. Lots of projects!!! Thanks for the video!
Thanks. working the old OMC motors sure is fun.
It sure is! I enjoyed working on these old guys as a job for the past 3 years. The only problem is my disappointment when a newer motor comes in, haha.
Very nice AD-11 Scott! 16:1 is definitely important especially innthe 7.5s. My AD-12 pushes my Sea Nymph 14R at about 12mph. Thanks for sharing!
they are smooth Thanks
Sounds very nice.
Another nice one! You have some of the best old motors I have seen. Thanks for posting.
dale
thanks
I have the same motor. Dad bought it new in 1958, a left over to save money. It was used on our 12' Chris Craft kit boat he built in the basement. He took great care of it and only used white gas. I was 8 then. He passed 8 years ago. Still love it and brings back memories of us fishing. I need a tank for it was lost in a later move. Know where I can get one? Thanks. Steve
S U try Craigslist or Facebook marketplace they are covered with them.
I have a 1956 ad-10 do these motors need a lead additive in the fuel or is unleaded gas ok
Unleaded is just fine with todays 2 stroke oils
