The skill in using that angle grinder to shape the wood... excellent. At the start I had thought the box would be too chunky, but it finished up with beautiful lines and proportions.

Your boxes are always so beautiful, Young. Great craftsmanship! Have you ever considered using a 'mop sander' to do some of the final sanding on the irregular surfaces? They're pretty easy to make and would save you a great deal of time..

Very nice! I like how you apply finish to the inside before glue up. Makes it easier to get glue residue out of the inside corners. And then oil finish to outside when complete. And then spray lacquer over that? Does the lacquer stick ok to the oil finish?
