You just prevented a major headache in the future. Very good video on this. Also note that it will be the same on the 6.8L V10 as the only real difference between the two engines is they added 2 more cylinders and a counterbalance shaft. I think they even used the same part number for the seal. Now if you wanted REAL bling, Modular Motorsports Racing makes a billet aluminum rear seal plate. Granted no one will ever see it while the tranny is installed, but hey, bling is bling, right? LOL
Good idea to replace while the transmission was out
Agreed
👍🏻
Awesome. You are one of the best at explaining and clarity. Thank you
Thank you! I appreciate your comment.
A lot of work Barry. It's good to replace that seal.
Thanks Mark
@@DrivingIntelligence very good work

Lol! Very true with the “bling not seen”… just like the beautiful billet 2-3 shift accumulator. ;)
Thx
Your welcome 🙏
My rear main was leaking on my 97 4.6 F150. I used ATP AT-205 and it stopped it completely. No leaks 50000 miles since then
That’s an option, but since I had the transmission out…
