10 Hour Grey Transition

- 10 hours, 22 scoops of lightener (with developer, that’s literally 3lb of mixed lightener!), 3 toners, 1 bowl of color, tons of foils, treatments between processes & after, TONS of laundry created lol
Formula breakdown:
1️⃣ Platinum card with @goldwell #oxycurplatin lightener with 10-20vol. Even with 30 years of overlapped dark color, we did not go beyond 20. Hair integrity was a priority & I knew that by lifting “low & slow” we had the best chances of getting her hair to lift as evenly as possible & enough to blend her grey. I dropped, wiped & dried foils as they finished processing.
2️⃣ we then shampooed, did a “K18 sandwich 🥪” which is where I sandwich toners between @k18hair (k18 for 4 min, apply toner directly over, process, shampoo, k18 again for 4 min, leave it in). For toners, I pretoned with @redken 10VV #SEQ, and for her target toner, I had been hearing miss @shann.hair rave about her new fav grey/blonde formula so I wanted to try it - this was 10AG & 9P. I went with 40grams 10AG & 20grams 9P and it was 🤌🤌🤌
3️⃣ lowlighted with #goldwell 5NA Topchic w/10vol & 3 drops of pure blue pure pigment
4️⃣ final toner on the ends where there was a bit more underlying warmth - 9AG & splash of 8VB (in a k18 sandwich once again)
5️⃣ haircut & finish ✨
