LOL.... tell me why are you reading about scientology if it sickens you?? You love spreading dirt.. you love that feeling which gives you that sickening sensation! LOL. If this was not the truth you would not be here and reading about scientology and making negative comments!
David Miscavige (see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Miscavige ) is the cult's ring leader. Oddly his wife hasn't been seen in public since 2007. Dodgy much? Tom Cruise is perhaps the highest profile victim, and is in turn responsible for creating other victim's of the cult. Credit to 60 Minutes for raising awareness!
Since his couch jumping moment on Oprah, I’ve taken a hard pass on everything Tom Cruise. The Brooke Shields postpartum depression comments of his confirmed my ick.
I genuinely do wonder how long Scientology will last, there is a part of me that hopes one day far in the future when Tom Cruise is actually too old to be in movies and practically on his death bed he just finally comes out with "Yeah it was a load bullshit... but I was in too deep to get out of it."
Or in a true Hollywood movie style twist, he could have been a double agent for the government to take down a great cult. That would be such interesting event to unfold in our lifetime.
Some day, some director is gonna make a movie about his journey into scientology and the downfall as well. You know, when they're all find out its a big scam
Yes, Shelly Miscavage. David Miscavage's wife has been missing well over 10 years. Gotta love those Scientology folks...they sure know how to cover up things and lie to law enforcement while they bully our government and other people...especially people who want to leave Scientology.
My cousin is a member of scientology and she did something horrible to me, her own family. She prefers her new family of member of this cult over her own blood. I can totally understand why Tom Cruise is not meeting his own daughter. The cult makes him so, he is brainwashed. I am so glad I am not in any contact with my cousin anymore. She is a very toxic person who hurt me in my very vulnerable time (I just lost my mom at that time).

Silent Birth doesn't mean no noise during childbirth but rather no words - the thinking being if words are shouted then they may have a psychological impact on the child being born. I'm not defending the practice but that is how it works according to John Travolta who explained it on a BBC chat show.

It was shocking to see their glazed-over eyes, their appearance of sleep deprivation, and the desperate looks of hopelessness. Always a sad, sad sight.
Why are some of the episodes of 60 minutes regarding Tom Cruise and or Scientology turned “off”…. Tom Cruise stated in another interview- ppl do not have a bad perception of him or Scientology regarding being a lunatic.. Tom - newsflash..ppl now do have that perception.
Tom Cruise is almost certainly one of the best actor in the world with many idolizing him. He strives to be the no.1 & put in all possible efforts to achieve this. Scientology however is both a blessing & equally a curse to him. He is treated as an absolute god within that cult beside leader David Miscavige however this causes him to overlook the evil practices that that cult is using on their ordinary members. He also allows that cult to control him to the point that two women that loved him was forced to separate from him. I have no doubt he is also donating large portions of money that he earns to that cult to continually finance them. It is ridiculous of him rejecting psychiatry treatment and promoting "dianetics" which is literally pseudoscience and never been proven effective as the solution. It is doubtful Tom Cruise will ever changed and realized what he is supporting and sacrifice so much for....I can only say it is already too late & he will always remain a controversial figure in Hollywood.
Yes...because Mr. Cruise is not very bright. He loves attention and power, which are the things his acting and belief in Scientology provide. Miscavage would drop him in a minute if Cruise lost his money and his Hollywood cre.
The media will bring the alien thing ultra mainstream soon enough. We may see the aliens actually endorse someone in the coming election, maybe even offer a cure to a sickness to Humanity.
I can't even watch a Tom Cruise movie now after all the things that have been revealed about him and Scientology. I just can't get past him knowingly getting free labour from people who are likely being mistreated, pressured to disconnect from their families etc
Interestingly if I remember right I think the person who the original 'free labour' story came from did mention in his original 'release' that Miscavige specifically told him not to tell Cruise. I read loads about it ages ago and if I can remember right (although honestly I may just be misremembering) It is only in the re-interactions/re-telling that this part got lost.
I was accosted on a London street in 1987 by a very pretty girl & handsome man, trying to recruit members to Scientology. I did some dianetic auditing, it was interesting, I even went to their HQ in East Grinsted but something didn't feel right & I gave up, they basically wanted too much money off me. Fast forward to 2005 & I did the Landmark Forum in London, plus the advanced course & SELP course. The Landmark Forum is also a cult-like organisation that was founded by a scientologist who left them, stole some of their knowledge & started up The Landmark Forum. I've got to say that I learned some really great & empowering stuff from Landmark but it got too controlling after the 3rd course & was very evangelical & even more cult-like. Apparently, Landmark was banned in France due to cult-like behaviour. If you have plaenty of money, Scientology can teach you some cool stuff I'm sure but it's very controlling.

What profits a man if he gains the whole world and yet loses his soul?
