- This song is technically attributed to Kaskad, likely because it's a cover of a Kaskad performance. However, neither Kaskad (Bagram), any of it's recreations, or any other well-known bands like Kontingent or Blue Berets have this particular version of this song in their discography.
My personal theory is that it was preformed by Kaskad sometime around 1989, as they developed a distinct style during that period that matches that of this song. If you compare this song to those on Kaskad's second proper album, Пусть Память Говорит, the synth, bass, and drums on this track sound exactly like that album. This still begs the question of why this track isn't on that album or any Kaskad release. Where and why it was recorded, and how this damaged version made it onto RUclips despite no other recording seeming to exist on the internet, is beyond me. Видеоклипы
Your effort in finding and restoring it deserves all my respect. Thank you so much!
It's from one of their concerts in 1988 if I remember correctly, pretty sure it was performed by Kaskad.
I attribute the song to Каскад as of it was not released in the album because of censorship, Каскад has remade the song again in their newest album where most songs from the 1989 one are remade
Here's the new Album:

My thoughts exactly, everything points to this song being meant to be on the 1989 album. The only question is how this song made it onto RUclips despite being censored...
@@kalinkov2114 I have no idea how it got into RUclips despise being censored and that's what fascinates me

Btw this is as far as I could track this recording back, don't know how I would be able to contact the owner of the channel though.

@@kalinkov2114 Those videos are common, it's most likely that it is a reupload
Now that I look into it, it may be a tape to video upload and also Пленные Маджахеды Фильм 2 translates to Captured Mujahideen Movie 2
Here are my corrections of the translation, the way you translated the song implied that the main character of this ballad is actually a Shuravi, but it is the opposite, he is a Mujaheedin who was captured by the Shuravi (Soviets).
At first he was shooting from a Bur
He was going through a test
And with everyone's attention, amidst black hills, the chief has given him an AK
He also gifted him a ring, an amulet
And told him in front of everyone
Praise Allah and Praise Quran
He will bring you fortune and success
And in the ring, a soul lives
Accept it as the highest gift
And on it are the sacred words:
Allah Akbar, Allah Akbar
Allah is omnipotent, alike Life
Wealth will come to you
Just don't miss at the Shuravi
And at those whom I command to shoot
With wealth you will be shone
With loot you will be gifted
And you will buy yourself a shop
And you will buy beautiful wives
You'll gain rights on everything
Since my ring is like the highest gift
On it are the sacred words:
Allah Akbar, Allah Akbar
But the battle came, an utter nightmare
Where everything around is flame and ash
And so he yells "Allah Akbar"
In a shock he was captured
Closing his eyes, in dirt, in blood
Wounded, he awaited to be shot
But the silent Shuravi just bandaged his shoulder
From the ghost's finger near the trench
into the dirt the sacred gift had slipped
And the sacred words became stained with blood:
Allah Akbar, Allah Akbar
Allah Akbar, Allah Akbar.
Respect your ennemy
This is awesome dude! Keep it up!
Personally I do think it's by kaskad because you can clearly hear Astvatur Sagiryan.
Awesome
wait, so the song is written by kaskad but this particular version is unknown?
*YES*
I think i know the dude who sings this song, but i don't know his name. He's also from kaskad.
2 corrections:
1. Allahu Akbar means Allah is the greatest
2. Allah is all powerful, but not like life. Nothing is comparable to Allah
Interesting song, I like it
You're right, Akbar means greatest, not praise, but I think the song intended the connection between God and life, this is sung from the perpspective of an Soviet, someone for whom life is the greatest thing.
the translation of this song is fucked up. so do not take as if it was correct words of song
@@ytgfy very f***ed up. thanks for understanding
