- The version of this song recorded in 1988. A more electronic version made it onto their second - cough - legally distributed album, but this version is a bit more impactful just due to the choice of instruments.

2:42 the shift from sand to snow is probably one of the most touching details i've seen put to film
great footage
I noticed how war songs from the Russians/Soviets have this thing i cant really explain, but you can somewhat feel the sorrow and dread from these songs, when you usually hear American or western war song/anti war songs they dont pass this feeling to you, I listened from the more know CCR to Barry saddler (This Is the Last Song of War) and these songs never passed the feeling of sadness or anti war as much as these songs made by the Soviets/Russians do.
And now with this new war in Europe heating more and more, and i seeing people die or be wounded left and right on twitter, telegram and discord videos I remember these songs again and the message stays there, specially nowadays where everyone has a phone with internet and camera we can see war in a cruelty and rate never seen beforehand plus the fact that war is more and more lethal than before, and who pays the price is the common man on both sides, civilian and soldier alike.
Im not here to condemn or support a side and dehumanize the other like many many are doing right now and making memes or whatever to clown on the other, I'm just here seeing more people die from a screen with these songs playing on my head while it happens, i hope it ends and that we dont forget the devastation it has brought to Russia and Ukraine and hope it never happens again.... but knowing the world i will be wrong.
God bless these people who grab the rifles and march foward knowing damn well what waits for them.
Sad but true 😔
bem dito
Yeah..more people aren't taking this war seriously.
Here is some fact in your nickname. You are gigachad.
I think westies don't really understand what happens to Ukraine.
And for every Russian the fact of need to fight(due to duty/nation idea/counter measuring NATO ect) in Ukraine is a deep wound, because the Russians perceive this war as a civil one. One nation, but two countries. One against other.
As I can see here, no one is happy about Ukrainian casualties, burning cities and dead economy. It is like harming yourself.
@@georgros4199 you said it very well my dude
Хорошая песня, душевая очень
A very beautiful and heart touching song! I listen to it everyday.
And thank you for the upload, this is some rare version i couldn't find anywhere else💐
Yea, another one i recomend is Swallowing dust.
@@tonk8395That’s literally the “gateway song” of the entire Soviet Afghan war music collection, many others to recommend instead that I’m sure most have not heard
I love cats and the Soviet Union. It's great that people like you make these videos.
Как очень обидно смотреть на то что, старые уроки нас не учат.

This could also fit well in the yugoslav wars.
