His kid's and grandkids would be very proud of Fred. He was a lady killer. Fred was a all rounder. A sad sad day when this great man passed. I miss him but I didn't even know him, strange that. RIP FRED. 🌹
Well done for uploading all these films about Fred. I'm from County Meath in Ireland and have been a fan of Fred since a young lad, in my mid-forties now and I love these videos. What a man he was! I would have loved to have met him, but sadly I never did get the chance. Anyway, all the best and keep up the good work. 👍
never will be a man or men bold and coragess as this man take note snow flakes you will never come close to being a man PERIOD !!!! BREAD AND MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN!!
This place a museum I think restored reopened 2019 visitors arrival story and photo,s on Google ,looks like this steeple still stands if so wonderful Fred saved this one you can't wreck them all folks some remain as was Fred's belief when he cared for this one still stands that's win win then.fred could advise you on steeples brickwork steam engines lightening conductors and most things what a jack of all trades😮(steeple jack!)clue invthe name
I'm not sure if they were demonstrating that he drove his Landy all the way from Bolton to Cambridge and back but if he did then that is an amazing feat in itself!
Fred seems to be loved and admired by many people, but not everyone was a fan of him. I had a chap pick up an old machine I was selling today and I happened to mention Fred Dibnah, and I expected the usual "oh yeah good old Fred hey.", but his reply was "yeah and abusing his wives". Not sure whether he was meaning his drinking problems but I got the feeling I never liked him.
Seems like a rumour, although I do recall hearing that he did hit his sons sometimes. Again, that was just a rumour based on comments under a youtube video, it was said that one of his sons posted various details on a forum.
I’m from the States and I absolutely love watching this series abt Fred. 🍻

Lady killer? Is that something to be proud of? I don't get your logic. You're insane.
The old flanolett shirt is timeless. I still have a couple and still wear them from time to time! What a legend you are Fred👍🙏
What a fantastic guy, wish I could have met Fred.
Eh up Fred,a down to earth guy with a huge amount of knowledge, someone I would have been humbled to meet,Thank you Fred.
I did work in Bolton at the time Fred was alive l was taken to his house but I was not lucky too see this great man but I will never forget Fred
it was a sad day when some nasty people stole the brass plate off his steam roller.
Unbelievable guy and so knowledgeable. But i wouldn't want to live next door to him
I worked in the U.S. doing bridges and high rises. Thought my work was dangerous until I watched Fred not even close.
What a fantastic bloke.
Love this. Two English men, North and south talking, having a laugh.
And Fred just keeps on saying "yeah, yeah" all the time whilst listening to him lol.

Nice one bud!
Fred says yeah a thousand times can't let him speak without saying yeah 😂
One of my uncles used to say the same when you was trying to talk to him about something and he was trying to sound like he was listening to you lol
Haha I can’t unhear it now you’ve said it! 😂
Thing is after putting up the ladders he could have easily attached a safety harnesses but he never bothered. Quite amazing really.
His labourer Donald once said that he never bothered with safety gear as he would have got to rely on it too much!
Fred must have got a nosebleed that far south.
No holidays 😊
Thought it was hit man & her for a minute 😂
That was him and his wife! 2nd one that is.
so they burned old rubber tires after the war so they could keep their steam engine going
I always thought Milton smells of shit when the wind blew the smell towards Cherry Hinton.
Fred and malcolm Douglas best on you tube
'Top Gear' you say....
