What kind of engine paint did you use? The link you put doesn't work
@@dingusmaximus80 Thanks for letting me know the link was not working. It is fixed now. The paint is made by Eastwood.
@@BayCityRestorations you don't sell them? You just keep them?
at the moment I just build these bikes for my personal collection. I will eventually have to sell some of them though because I am quickly running out of space.
What's the diameter of those clip on bars?
This is the most classic and beautiful BMW Cafe IV ever seen. Simply wow!!!!!
Looks good, a new breath of life for the old bike.
Just got mine. Going to do the same. It’s a 95 fully loaded with 100 pounds of plastic. It’s all got to go. This is fabulous. Thanks
Woah this man seriously has magic in his hand , the craftsmanship is beyond limit . Lovely build 🤠😊
Thank you my friend!
@@BayCityRestorations ThankU for sharing these awesome build with us 🙏🙏🥰🥰🤩🤩😘😘☺️☺️
The level of quality in your work is amazing, very well done :)
Thank you!
Another great build, very well done!
Man this became a beast and roars sounds so so good... Wish we can get this at my country and build it like yours so so awesome 😎
Gorgeous bike and great craftsmanship. Great job!
Thank you!
🔥🔥🔥 absolutely fire!
Great work as usual Mike 🤘
Thanks brother! 🤘🏻
Damn nice bike !
Congratulations and well done
Thank you!
Ive watched hrs of your builds....very few builders just nail it for me...you do!....amazing work.....how can someone buy a bike done from by you?
I really appreciate it! Right now I just build these bikes as a hobby. Most of them are kept for my personal collection. If I do decide to put any up for sale I will do so on my instagram page.
Beautiful work
Thank you!
Legit probably one of my favorite builds by FAR. Can’t get enough of it. well done 👍🏽 👏🏽 🔥
Thank you I appreciate it! 🙏🏻
Gorgeous. Me personally I'd have kept the stock tank colors bc the red pinstripe looked awesome.
The original paint had turned into chalk from sitting in the Florida sun all these years. It had to be repainted.
Top, good looking 👍👍
Love the build! A good mate of mine here in Melbourne, Australia did a very similar build except on a K100! Amazing looking bikes with that “flying brick” engine!🤣👍🏼😎🇦🇺
Thanks for watching man! I worked with my buddy Jas in Australia to build my latest K100 :)
@@BayCityRestorations Great Allie’s working together!🇦🇺🇺🇸😆👍🏼
Excellent.
NICE!
Great stuff
Thank you!
That a great build. You have talent dude. I'm just starting a build of k75 on my channel
Appreciate it man! Goodluck with your build! They are fun bikes to work on 🏍
Looks so good!
Thank you! 🙏🏻
@@BayCityRestorations I wish u had a shop here in Tampa where I could see your bikes in person!!
January 23rd in St. Pete I will have all the bikes on display at the Festivals of Speed show. 😎
Круто!!! Спасибо за видео!!!
Awesome.
amazing
clean AF.
Thank you!
Well done sir
Thank you 🙏🏻
Wish you were my neighbour, I've got a K75c had it for 15 years , great bikes but a bit boring in standard form , really nice build on your bike . Pity I live in the U K 😊
damn only 4 months of work, the bike came out incredible.
Very nice collection
Thank you! 🙏🏻
@@BayCityRestorations I have a 91 k75
I liked the pops
My dream bike
front fork angle? wow..
wait. you do not know yer land speed...
thanks for this. it truly inspires me to go out and buy one ( 2500U.S. around the corner from my place...)
if you had to part with it, i wonder how much a dude could score it for.....
I used a gps speedo on my phone for this bike. Forks were dropped aggressively low but I did not have any issue riding it this way. As long as the bike is a good runner and has decent service history $2500 is pretty good deal.
thanks a lot@@BayCityRestorations
What is your favourite bike out of the K75 vs K100 and why? Thank you 🙏
Ooooooow yeeeah!
What was the bracket used to hold the led indicators and led small display
One more great flying brick👍 planing to start my K1100 build this winter. And found same seat, is it twisted brothers? How comfortable is it? I know it’s cafe style, but still 😁
I’ve ridden the bike on trips of 200 miles+ in one day. The seat could definitely use more padding but overall it’s not bad.
@@BayCityRestorations cool, thanks. I’ve contacted them asking about mounts and stuff like that. And they told me they can make a 2cm thicker padding if I need to, but I’m not sure if it’s gonna look as nice. Appreciate you sharing your builds. Your k100 (blue tank) actually inspired me to make my own build, and I couldn’t resist to buy one, when I saw a k1100for sell)
Love it man! Good luck with your build! I’m looking for a k1100 to build next :)
Love the build, 1 more question I was wondering how far you dropped the handle bars in the front? Want to lower mine as well.
this bike had a 1.5 inch drop in the front.
Muy bonita😊😉
Awesome build! Where did you source the rear seat cowl setup from??
It is from twisted brothers
@@BayCityRestorations thanks for the reply! Will check them out !
Very nice as usual! Have you ever looked at the rear shock/subframe conversion though, in my opinion the k100's need it for beautiful tank/seat lines
They do look awesome but I have heard there are some safety concerns with that suspension setup.
Wow, how did you get it to sound so good? Is it a cut / straight pipe or did you use a custom exhaust?
Just running straight pipes on this one 👍🏻
@@BayCityRestorations So is that just the stock exhaust without the muffler?
Where’d you get the front fender from? Could i get the link?
I’m looking to get my first bike and I love how this one looks, there’s one for sale near me for 4k. I know 740cc is a lot to start off with, but do you think it would be manageable to learn on?
Yes, I think these bikes have enough power so that you can grow into them but they do not have so much torque that it would be hard for a beginner to learn on.
@@BayCityRestorations Thanks, I figured with it being an older bike that would be the case, Im 6 foot and 180 lb, so I feel like Id be able to handle it.
Did you keep the stock k75 forks? How were you able to lower the bars using the stock forks if so.
Yes they are the original forks. Clip on bars linked in the description will fit right on the k75 forks.
This, I want to know as well. Did you just slid the forks up the triple tree? I want to lower my k75 without swaping the forks for now.
where did you get/how did you make the rear seat? I have a BMW that I want a similar seat on
also are those clip on handlebars reliable?
Kpartsholland sells them
Where did you get the cross member brace for the seat?
I made it myself out of a flat piece of steel. You can find it at most hardware stores and then just use a bench vise and hammer to bend it in to the shape you need.
Can u give me the link on the seat?
Big question nice job by the way💪 what did you use for the exhaust
Just took the muffler off on this one and ran straight piped.
@@BayCityRestorations nice ok thanks👍
very nice you just have to chenge back tyre chenge with larg one
Great Bike.
What tires? Brand? size?
Thanks they are kenda challenger tires. They are the stock K75 sizes but I do not remember what that is off the top of my head.
Hello, can you help me find a BMW motorcycle knowing that my place is in Iraq and thank you for the great content you provide
Where did you buy your parts
What size clip on bars did you get, 41mm?
Yes, that is correct. The stock forks are 41mm so that is the size clip on I went with.
Where did you get the seat?
Twisted Brothers
How much was spent on the parts?
Is the seat pan made out of the original back fairing??
No it is a custom fiberglass mold.
@@BayCityRestorations I really appreciate you replying so long after you put out the vid. While the twisted brothers seat pan is amazing, it’s very expensive for me in my country. Are there any cheaper options that look similar you can suggest
This website has some more affordable seat options.
www.caferacerwebshop.com?ref=baycity
Any of these currently for sale by chance?
Hi, we do not have any bikes for sale currently.
Exhaust??
Sounds like a bmw 3 series
i would wish to join uall
Horrible, muy mal gusto, un sacrilegio para esa leyenda
Thanks for watching!
I would rather leave the bike the way it was.
