Belle of Louisville Riverboats presents history through a variety of engaging cruise and dockside events-entertaining and educating over 12 million passengers since 1963. A National Historic Landmark and an icon of the Louisville Waterfront, the Belle is the only remaining authentic steamboat from the great American packet boat era on America’s waterways. At 107 years old and counting, the Belle remains purely steam-powered and paddlewheel-propelled.

We had our cruise on Throw back Thursday and we chose 70s night. The 1970s is our era and we were able to relive our teen years listening to all the 70s music! We had a great time and highly recommend cruising on The Belle of Louisville.
What a beautiful boat. Ms. Martha knew her business. LOL. What a fun way to learn about the old steam boats of a bygone era, and I'm not talking about the 70's. It was fun to see all the people dancing though to the music we danced to as teens. They keep the engine room pristine. They was a cool tour. I bet it was hot and steamier down there. What a beautiful evening.

We always love a cruise on an old steamboat, Keith and Terri. We loved yours! We enjoyed hearing the Calliope music and taking a step beck in time. It was also interesting seeing the steam boilers. I'll bet it was hot! Thanks so much for bringing us along.

What a great river boat cruise. What a great bunch of guys the engine crew was. Great ride guys. We took some riverboat cruises out of Cincinnati but none of them were true steam river boats

The Belle is the only real steamboat left on the American river system as Delta Queen is undergoing renovations (for the past 10 years it seems) and Natchez and Julia Belle Swaine also out of service. .
