  • Your first stop inside Graceland Mansion will be the foyer where you can view Elvis' living room, dining room, the stairway, and his mother's bedroom. In the foyer was often where special guests were received and shown to the living room, where they would await Elvis to greet them. Elements of decor you see in these rooms today span all of the Elvis eras at Graceland, but the look is primarily the late 1960s to early 1970s incarnation. Next, you will travel through Elvis' kitchen which is a throwback to the 70s. It’s definitely a 70s time capsule. It was left exactly how it was when Elvis lived there. He used to sit at the bar for hours watching his fans at the gate in the security camera and sometimes he would go out and greet them. You will see a red phone in each area of the house and that is Elvis’s personal phone.
We saw the Jungle Room with its green shagged carpets, Polynesian feel and exotically carved wood. This room was once the exterior access to the basement. In the 1960s, during one of Elvis' home improvement projects, it was added to the back of the house - first as a screened in porch and then closed in as a room a few years later. In 1974, Elvis redecorated with the current furnishings he stumbled upon at a Memphis furniture store. This room became a family favorite and Elvis liked it in part because it was reminiscent of Hawaii, where he enjoyed vacationing, film-making and performing.
Then we went to his downstairs area which includes the TV room and billiards room.
From there we exited into a carport where he used to park his cars. Then we saw Vernon Presley’s office where he paid the bills for Elvis and took care of his personal business.
We saw the smokehouse that he used for a shooting range. We visited the trophy building, the Racquetball Building, and the memorial where Elvis and his relatives are buried.
We saw so many personal artifacts from the life of Elvis. We even got to hold a concert belt.
The Ultimate VIP Graceland Tour was a three hour tour. We highly recommend this tour! Our tour guide turned out to be the step brother of Elvis (we found out later). He told so many personal stories. It was the tour of a lifetime from someone who had lived there!

There is no other memory that will stand out like the VIP tour at Graceland. It was the one of the best things I have ever done it is worth everything you will never forget it. They have not only done a beautiful job with the entire place but it is so over the top you would have to spend the entire day there to see it all or come back the next day there is an awful lot they offer I'm more than you could ever believe

Elvis Presley was a huge fan of Queen Elizabeth II. He had always dreamed of meeting her, and one day, his dream came true.
Elvis was invited to Buckingham Palace to perform for the Queen. He was so excited that he could barely sleep the night before. When he arrived at the palace, he was greeted by a butler who led him to the Queen's chambers.
The Queen was sitting on a throne, and she looked even more regal than Elvis had imagined. He bowed low before her, and she smiled and said, "It is so nice to finally meet you, Mr. Presley. I have been a big fan of yours for many years."
Elvis was so flustered that he could barely speak. He just nodded and said, "Thank you, Your Majesty."
The Queen then asked Elvis to perform for her. He sang a few of his most famous songs, and the Queen seemed to enjoy them. When he was finished, she clapped and said, "That was wonderful, Mr. Presley. Thank you so much for that."
Elvis was so happy that he had finally met the Queen. He knew that he would never forget this day.
As Elvis was leaving the palace, he accidentally bumped into the Queen. She started to sneeze, and a big glob of snot flew out of her nose and on to his cheek. Elvis was so shocked that he just stood there, horrified.
The Queen looked at the snot and then back up at Elvis. She smiled and said, "Oh dear, I seem to have made a mess."
Elvis didn't know what to do. He just stood there, frozen in shock.
The Queen then reached out and touched Elvis's cheek. She said, "Don't worry, Mr. Presley. I'll get rid of it"
Elvis blushed and said, "Yes, Your Majesty."
The Queen then leaned in and licked the snot off of Elvis's cheek. Elvis was so surprised that he almost fell over.
The Queen smiled and said, "There, all better."
Elvis didn't know what to say. He just stood there, staring at the Queen.
The Queen then turned and walked away, leaving Elvis standing there, alone and confused.
Elvis never forgot that day. He often thought about the Queen's snot, and how she had licked it off of his cheek. He wondered if she had done it on purpose, or if it was just an accident.
Elvis never saw the Queen again, but he never forgot her. He always thought of her as a kind and generous woman, even if she did lick her snot.
