Visiting in may as an Elvis Presley fan since I was a little girl. I’m 25 next month. I wish Elvis was here to see his impact. He is what got me into music/making music.
It’s funny to me that Elvis thought he’d be forgotten. But then both Red, Sonny and Lamar and Billy all said Elvis never got what all the fuss was about. He didn’t understand why people all loved him so much. He told someone I can’t remember who said it he had a dream that God came & kissed his throat and that’s why he could sing. It might have been Linda Thompson who said that.
I visited Gracelands some years ago, The house was wonderful , standing beside Elvis’s grave. Was most emotional and many tears were shed. May Lisa Marie Rest In Peace with her father. ❤❤

I was on vacation with my family I was 13 years old I'll never forget the wonderful trip to visit his home and Garden grave - today I'm going back to boot glhus home and grace and his beautiful daughter Lisa Marie presley just passed away on January 12th 2023 ..sad 😳😭she was 54 years old young at heart most of the familyus all barried there. .. peace god bless the presley family👏.

The Best show I've ever seen,, My 2nd is "Paul McCartney".. Ive never been to "Graceland" and would love to visit one day. And you all know, Elvis is not there, or any of his f✝⛪🧡🥰 Family members who passed.. They are all in Heaven. Elvis must look like the way he did when he did his 68' comeback Special at 33 yrs old.

Back in 1970-71, I rode my Motorcycle past Graceland daily going to and from work, sometimes I'd see him out at the gates talking to fans and signing autographs. He loves his fans as much as anyone could. Unfortunately, I never got to meet him, wish now I would have taken the time and stopped.
You were too young, to realize how quickly Elvis's health problems would take him from this earth! I'm sure he could have benefitted having friend like you though!

My husband & myself went to Graceland it was absolutely beautiful we went round the house & then we went out to the graves it was so very peaceful was pleased to see he had his mother near him he so missed her but they were back together . After we left Memphis we stopped at Topelo that was something else . We seen the house he was born in , also the chapel ,also a place where thing's that was collected , but the thing that really brought him near to us was The Wall Of His Life . My god I cried for him he lost so much , he never got to be with his grand children or see Liza Marie grow up . If you ever get a chance to go to his birth place please please go . R I P Elvis you will never be forgotten .
Well the place is beautiful but then again it looks so sad it was so full of life at once so many dreams. This has to be hard for Priscilla and Lisa Marie to go back there with all those memories. It truly is a beautiful place. Very peaceful looking the grounds are impeccable. Priscilla has done a wonderful job keeping Elvis memory alive.

I have met women who tel me they are in love with Elvis today and yet they were born after he died! I can’t think of any other human being that existed that could create those feelings in people. Amazing man.

So It Is --- A peacefull morninig visit.... Simple, yet very toucing for me.... My father was a visiting professor in 1976-1977 in Scotland, and I was there with them also. My country, Hungary was under Soviet occupation by that time, so y two elder brothers were "kept" back in Hungary ( so that we won't emmigrate ) . In that time the scottish TV remembered Elvis week by week, with movies and concerts. I was 7 years old then, and surely as I proceeded with the english language, and later as I grew up enough I can declare He is THE KING of rock'n roll , and modern music . Very intellectual lyrics, and very new music. I newer undersood,whwt are the Beatles have to do with this at all !!!??? Hopefully one day I WILL visit this Holy Place as well . god Bless You All ...

Was at Graceland the night Elvis died. With my 12 y/ 0ld daughter & 2 friends. Have 2 newspapers! THOUSANDS of people from all over the world. Live in Little Rock. Flowers were the most beautiful!!! ♥️
Peaceful beautiful morning at Graceland . Now Lisa Marie's son Ben is laid to rest there with his family. That's still so sad . I wish we all could have seen them all together here on earth, but maybe one day we'll see them in Heaven all together. Thank you Trey for sharing this with us.

I visited recently in March with my grandma before she passed from Covid shockingly in August. Couldn’t have asked for a better last trip with her.

Only time can make you feel better.. When I lost my father I needed one year to feel better ( the first 6 months were a nightmare ) ... Take care and never never give up! I have met women who tel me they are in love with Elvis today and yet they were born after he died! I can’t think of any other human being that existed that could create those feelings in people. Amazing man.
That’s a reason I’m a fan of the guy..he was just cool man.. women loved him and women still love the guy.. even if he would be 86. I know some pretty 20 year old girls that love him and I’m sure ep would like that today! Ha
Hi Trey my how peaceful what memories that that house must hold it’s such a shame sadly most of the people that were around at that time have passed on the memorial gardens are so peaceful I can see why Elvis loved it I really hope that in the future the house will remain as part of history and the younger generations get to see and hear his music and he was definitely the king of music

Simple, yet very toucing for me....
My father was a visiting professor in 1976-1977 in Scotland, and I was there with them also. My country, Hungary was
under Soviet occupation by that time, so y two elder brothers were "kept" back in Hungary ( so that we won't emmigrate ) .
In that time the scottish TV remembered Elvis week by week, with movies and concerts. I was 7 years old then, and surely
as I proceeded with the english language, and later as I grew up enough I can declare He is THE KING of rock'n roll , and modern music . Very intellectual lyrics, and very new music. I newer undersood,whwt are the Beatles have to do with this at all !!!??? Hopefully one day I WILL visit this Holy Place as well . god Bless You All ...
